I had seen the movie and was looking forward to the musical. The actors were all great. The costumes were off the charts. The energy was terrific. So glad I got to see it!
While I agree that the stage play doesn't posses all the quirkiness and darkness of the film, they do a good job of capturing the spirit of the film without missing any important story moments. I half expected racier elements to be cut (like the "ping pong" scene.) but they handled it well. Splashier and glossier than the film but a great show with top notch lighting and lots of fun catchy songs.
Great show with fabulous costuming! We thoroughly enjoyed the performance from our amazing seats.

Wow, this production was dead on. It followed the movie. I was disappointed that the Abba music was missing but the rest was outstanding. We saw it on the last day otherwise I would have gone again. LOVE IT!
I've seen the movie a few times, and it's one of my favorites. Guy Pearce isn't too hard to look at. The play covered the movie pretty faithfully, although it did include a few extra songs not in the movie (most notable: MacArthur Park {Someone Left The Cake Out In The Rain...}). I wondered how they were going to portray Priscilla (the bus is, indeed, a character in the play), and thought the way they pulled it off was inventive and spot on. There was only one number that I thought could have been done better. In the movie, when they're driving through the desert, Felicia is in a knockout 'you can see it from space' costume, sitting in a gigantic shoe on top of the bus, Gigantic pieces of fabric are billowing out behind her as they go. Felicia is lip-synching what sounds like an Italian opera aria. In the play, she is sitting in a shoe on top of the bus, but the front of the bus is facing the stage, and there is lots of fabric draped behind her, but not flowing at all. Don't understand why they did that. Really took away from that scene. If you've never seen the movie, you wouldn't know the difference, but I sure did. The costumes were delightful, the performers' energy was through the roof. All in all, a very enjoyable event.
This was a high energy, fast paced and truly mesmerizing production! Must see for adults.

The costumes! The music! The bodies!!! Fabulous. We had been looking forward to Priscilla 's arrival since the start of the tour and she did not disappoint.
The costume, music, characters, and the whole story made this musical play very entertaining. For someone like me who grew up in the 80's, I could totally relate to the music and they way it was plugged into the scene or character.

I really liked the show. It had great music was funny and entertaining. I went during a matinee and wished I went to a later show, I'm sure it is more lively and fun later in the day. I was very glad I saw the show.

This was the second time we saw this show and loved it both times. All the performers did a great job. The music was great and I would highly recommend this show.
You will absolutely LOVE, LOVE this musical...non stop humor, music and fun. The guys look soooo much like women its pretty awesome.....show was fantastic....I will definitely see it again....hope to see this show in LAS VEGAS someday sooon......
