    Priscilla was AMAZING!

by theatermuffy on 1/10/13Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

Having seen and loved this movie years ago, I was not disappointed by this amazing show! It is glittery and over-the-top fantastic that stays true to the movie I loved so much. My husband and I were laughing and singing along the whole time.

    Priscilla wa great fun

    by DandK999 on 1/10/13Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

Priscilla was the best new musical I've seen in years. I loved it!! I loved the music, which I knew most of ( I didn't realize I would when I bought the tickets), the costumes, the fun. the sets, the musicians, and the cast. Even the audience was great! It was all superb. I went with my sister, and it met her criteria: good music, dancing, fun and cheerful. I was afraid we'd get another "Billy Elliot," which for us was a dismal failure. It was awesome!!!

Most colorful show ever. Full of great actors, songs and costumes so fun I want to try making them for home just because. And I'm a girl.

This show was horrible! The warning says for age 13 and above but it is not appropriate for under 18. Lots of sexual talk, innuendo, and foul language. I feel that I was scammed out of my money since this was not mentioned in the description of the show. Also not mentioned was the fact that it is all about homosexual, transvestite men and one transgender man. The description failed to mention this. This type of show appeals to a certain population which I am not a part of. I feel that this should have been mentioned so I would know what type of show I was taking my wife to. I did it as a surprise to her but, I was more surprised than her. I am sadly disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

    Priscilla Queen of the Desert

by happycamper on 1/5/13Peoria Civic Center - Peoria

Totally enjoyed the entire show. It was fabulously hilarious. The costumes were "out of this world". Can understand why they take a couple of weeks just to get the stage set up. Very amusing the way Priscilla looked like she was really moving and the bumps in the road. At times the volume was a little higher than needed, it was a little difficult to understand what was being said. If they were speaking slower maybe would have helped too. Recommended this to all of my FB friends.

    Amazing must see!

by Risadisa on 1/5/13Peoria Civic Center - Peoria

The singing and dancing were fine but the bus and the costumes were awesome! I wish I could have seen it again the next night but already had plans. I will be going to Chicago in March to see it again!

If your broad minded and don't have a problem with cross-dressing, etc. this is a wonderful evening of laughs and music.
