    Great show

by farnwburbs on 3/31/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

Priscilla was great . Good song remixs, great orchestra, imaginative choreography. All the actors were excellent and really carried the show. I never liked the song "Cake out in the Rain" but they did it hysterically - my wife and I loved it.

Great music but that's about it!!

by amt318 on 3/31/13Auditorium Theater at Roosevelt University - Chicago

The music was the highlight of the show. The story line was weak and at times I forgot what was going on. Luckily the music was high energy and fun.

If you are straight and open-minded, you should ENJOY this show. If you are young and gay, you should ENJOY AND APPRECIATE this show. If you were on the Disco scene in the 70's and 80's, you should ENJOY, APPRECIATE AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE this show!

This production was marvelous. The actors were so enthusiastic, costumes were fantastic. Kudos to the designers and the backstage assistants who made those rapid fire costume changes possible. The entire show was clever from start to finish. Well worth the price of admission.

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert Wonderful

by friendswhotravel on 3/29/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

We weren't quite sure when the play started if we were going to like it. However, it didn't take long with lots of Donna Summer and Tina Turner music to get us smiling and moving in our seats. The costumes and the sets in the play were fabulous. It's a great story of acceptance.

    Best Ive seen this year

    by Chimatt78 on 3/29/13Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

It's good, not so much for children but it flows through scenarios that remind us how far GLBT issues have come and how far we still have to go. I went with a friend and then was determined to share the experience with another friend so went twice in a week. It was greatly appreciated by both of them and I enjoyed it equally the second time. Highly recommended.
