About

ABOUT PORTUGAL THE MAN:

Over the past decade, Portugal The Man has established themselves as one of rock's most prized possessions and a live phenomenon, with over 1,600 shows under their belts and a storied reputation as festival favorites.

Originally heralding from Alaska, the Portland-based band - comprised of John Gourley, Zach Carothers, Kyle O'Quin, Eric Howk, Jason Sechrist and Zoe Manville - soared to new heights in 2017 with the release of their RIAA certified-gold album, Woodstock. The album was marked by the astounding success of their infectious single, "Feel It Still," which earned the group a plethora of new accolades - including a GRAMMY award for "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance," a 6x RIAA platinum certified single certification, a mind-blowing 20-week residency at #1 on alternative radio, and an inescapable presence on the Top 40 airwaves.Alongside the shine of their myriad musical accomplishments lies the group's long-standing passion for social justice. In fact, this is precisely the intersection on which Portugal The Man thrives; throughout their career, the band has consistently exemplified how to deeply commit to both artistry and activism. This dynamic inspired them to officially launch their PTM Foundation in 2020, focused on universal issues related to human rights, community health, and the environment, with an emphasis on causes directly impacting Indigenous Peoples.

Their continued passion for activism has also led to recent partnerships with organizations such as the National Coalition Against Censorship, The Skatepark Project (helping communities build public skate parks for youth in underserved communities), March for Our Lives (Gun Reform), Keep Oregon Well (Mental Health), and Protect Our Winters (Climate Change), to name just a few.

  • Spokane concert was amazing

by Keely on 5/6/25Rating: 5 out of 5

So I saw them twice last year. In Spokane, Wa and at the Kettlehouse Amphitheatre. The Spokane show was amazing and they played so many of my favorite songs, the Kettlehouse Amphitheatre was not as amazing. Montana is so beautiful but the venue did stink that day, a lot. Not as many of my favorite songs played but they're still and will always be one of my favorite bands and will most definitely see them again.

  • Terrible venue and lackluster music

by Mama on 7/20/24Kettlehouse Amphitheater - BonnerRating: 1 out of 5

The venue smells. The seating is not great and $8 for a bottle of water is just plain ridiculous

  • Bit of a let down

by KMD on 7/20/24Kettlehouse Amphitheater - BonnerRating: 3 out of 5

Idk why they don’t play Tidal Wave, it’s a really great song. Instead they let a bunch of other people play during their concerts when I came to hear them and their music. I guess that’s just how they want their concerts to be, but I don’t find it to be as good of a time. I am happy I saw them, but wouldn’t go again.

I flew from New York to Colorado after seeing them here in NY in February They blew the roof off of RedRocks Amphitheater-(even though there is no roof there!!) Best thing I have done for myself in a long time They bring awareness to important issues, and I support them as often as I can. I won the SIGNED set list if the show too❤️ Listen, learn and contribute to the so many important causes the bring attention too #Franceschangedmylife #passthemic #PTM

  • Okay

by Review on 7/13/24Steelhouse Omaha - OmahaRating: 4 out of 5

I could barely hear the singer of Portugal the Man but still good show. The openers were great.

  • Nice venue. Drink selection could be better.

by Johnny Applevomit on 7/11/24Steelhouse Omaha - OmahaRating: 4 out of 5

Seen some good shows here. If you want to sit you’ll have to pony up for a balcony ticket. Wish they had a cider or Guinness. A nice nonalcoholic cocktail would be nice also.

  • Sound was not good…

by Marceltmonkey on 7/11/24Steelhouse Omaha - OmahaRating: 3 out of 5

I think I’d fire the sound guy. That is all I am going to say about that.

  • The show was incredible

by PTM Enjoyer on 7/10/24Steelhouse Omaha - OmahaRating: 5 out of 5

PTM puts on a great show. First times seeing them. I really enjoyed it. The venue was great. What wasn't great? Ticketmaster being involved. So outrageously expensive. I do everything I can to avoid Ticketmaster's greed when I buy tickets.
