PJ Morton is a soul singer, songwriter, performer and producer based in New Orleans. He is a 5x GRAMMY-winner and 20x GRAMMY nominee who has earned numerous nominations for BET, Soul Train and NAACP Image Awards, in addition to selling out countless shows at historic venues like the Apollo Theater, Kennedy Center and others around the world. On top of running his own record label (Morton Records) and serving as Maroon 5's full-time keyboardist for the past 12+ years, he has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Jon Batiste, Nas, Lil Wayne, JoJo, Yebba, Jill Scott and many others.
In 2024, PJ Morton will become the first Black composer to ever write an original song for a Disney attraction - Tiana's Bayou Adventure, coming soon to Disneyland and Disney World. He will also release an album entirely written, recorded and produced during a 30-day trip across Africa, and publish a new book titled Saturday Night, Sunday Morning. Arriving November 12th via Worthy Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, the memoir sees him recounting and reflecting upon a trailblazing path that continues to defy expectations and straddle the tensions of music and faith, race and culture, expression and identity.
House of Blues didn’t have most of the ingredients to make drinks that were on there menu so that was disappointing. Concert was great!
PJ definitely showed Houston and good time and even came back out for an encore 👏🏽👏🏽
PJ Morton didn't disappoint. The concert was amazing in every way. He engaged the audience and kept the good vibes going. I also liked the opening DJ. She turned the Houston audience into a choir. The only issue was with House of Blues' purse policy. They didn't allow purses and charged $10 cash to hold them.
I try to catch PJ any times he’s in town. And this time he had DJ Arie Spins and she is a beast!
Omg if youve never experienced a PJ Morton show you are missing out. The live instruments his voice the spiritual vibe...all unmatched!!! I will see him every time he comes to Houston!!
I absolutely LOVE PJ Morton in concert!!! You will NOT be disappointed! The crowd is so into the songs…..like a Mass Choir…..God willing, I will go every time he comes to my city!

PJ Morton and his band rocked! The crowd was into it ...singing, standing, clapping, dancing etc. Great concert! I liked the intimate setting!
As always PJ gives an excellent music presentation. His energy marched the audience’s and this made the concert an experience, not just a concert. You could feel it from the opening act of DJArieSpins all the way to the last song which was an encore because as always his shows have us wanting more!
PJ and his band gave a spectacular show. It was high energy and amazing. He definitely gave us a show. Cant wait for the new album to drop.

Pj Morton show was EVERYTHING I knew it works be and some. He is a very talented artist . He will keep you singing and on your feet. I can’t wait to see him in person again.

PJ was so awesome to see in person. This was my first concert of his I've been to and it was nothing short of amazing. He performed many of his biggest hits along with a couple from his upcoming album, and he brought each song to life. It was a musician's heaven on earth and I cant wait to see him again. You do not want to miss out on seeing him live!!!
PJ Morton is a must see!! From the musicianship, to the arrangements of his material, to the brilliance….the show is electrifying! My boyfriend and I went to this show. This was his first time seeing PJ live. He is a jazz musician and was OVERLY impressed. We absolutely LOVED the show.

I’ve been wanting to see PJ Morton in concert for a while. I went by myself but the way he engages with the crowd, I didn’t feel alone at all. His music speaks to my soul. Live music is real music
As always PJ Morton shines just a bit brighter as he plays in front of his home crowd. The energy flowed from the audience to the artist just as effortlessly as Morton’s vocals paint the room in good vibes, leaving expectations at the door only to surpass them. It was the pick-me-up, feel good, mood music we all needed and a great transition from the underwhelming preshow.
I am so glad that I had an opportunity to experience PJ Morton live in concert. The vibe for the entire evening was love! I am looking forward to experiencing this talented man again the next time he graces New Orleans with his presence.
