About

PJ Morton is a soul singer, songwriter, performer and producer based in New Orleans. He is a 5x GRAMMY-winner and 20x GRAMMY nominee who has earned numerous nominations for BET, Soul Train and NAACP Image Awards, in addition to selling out countless shows at historic venues like the Apollo Theater, Kennedy Center and others around the world. On top of running his own record label (Morton Records) and serving as Maroon 5's full-time keyboardist for the past 12+ years, he has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Jon Batiste, Nas, Lil Wayne, JoJo, Yebba, Jill Scott and many others.

In 2024, PJ Morton will become the first Black composer to ever write an original song for a Disney attraction - Tiana's Bayou Adventure, coming soon to Disneyland and Disney World. He will also release an album entirely written, recorded and produced during a 30-day trip across Africa, and publish a new book titled Saturday Night, Sunday Morning. Arriving November 12th via Worthy Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, the memoir sees him recounting and reflecting upon a trailblazing path that continues to defy expectations and straddle the tensions of music and faith, race and culture, expression and identity.

    I finally was able to attend a PJ Morton concert. Worth every penny and more. This young man is super talented and provided an excellent soulful and inspirational concert. I would definitely pay to see him again.

    This concert was phenomenal. From opening DJ to PJ Morton and Band. The singing and the musicianship was top rate. I am so glad I went. Worth it!!

    It was like a family reunion, I was surrounded by family and friends from the area…all who assembled to hear one the velvety smooth vocals of PJ Morton. It was an amazing night, he performed hit after hit! It was more than a show, it was an experience. I’m definitely going to catch another show!!!!

    DJ Arie Spins was a great opening act, that got the crowd hyped and ready for PJ. Once PJ and his team took the stage, that was the icing on the cake. Outstanding performances by everyone!!! I would definitely purchase tickets to another PJ Morton concert.

    This was very first concert and I’m Glad I picked PJ Morton concert to by my first experience. This man can SANG!!!!! He sounds like exactly the way his album is. He’s so talented!! He’s a fantastic keyboardist, piano player, and extraordinary singer, and performer!! He had the audience engaged like a songwriter should.

    The DJ rocked the crowd w something for the young & old. PJ & his band were unbelievably awesome & but the audience participation made the show. If your a PJ fan or not you will be dancing in the aisles. PEACE

    I’ll go see PJ every time. He had the crowd rocking. If you’re not a follower or a fan I don’t know what you’re doing with your life!! Renasant center seating sucks. Too tight and low but the show and DJ Arie Spins rocked the house. Don’t need to have so much lag time between the DJ and the actual show either. Still great. Had an awesome time.
