PJ Morton is a soul singer, songwriter, performer and producer based in New Orleans. He is a 5x GRAMMY-winner and 20x GRAMMY nominee who has earned numerous nominations for BET, Soul Train and NAACP Image Awards, in addition to selling out countless shows at historic venues like the Apollo Theater, Kennedy Center and others around the world. On top of running his own record label (Morton Records) and serving as Maroon 5's full-time keyboardist for the past 12+ years, he has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Jon Batiste, Nas, Lil Wayne, JoJo, Yebba, Jill Scott and many others.
In 2024, PJ Morton will become the first Black composer to ever write an original song for a Disney attraction - Tiana's Bayou Adventure, coming soon to Disneyland and Disney World. He will also release an album entirely written, recorded and produced during a 30-day trip across Africa, and publish a new book titled Saturday Night, Sunday Morning. Arriving November 12th via Worthy Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, the memoir sees him recounting and reflecting upon a trailblazing path that continues to defy expectations and straddle the tensions of music and faith, race and culture, expression and identity.
The PJ Morton concert was great! The opening DJ had the crowd pumped up so when PJ came on we were all ready for whatever it was he wanted to offer - and he delivered! He's so creative and his music tells a story that we all can identify with and all want to hear again and again

I haven't had this much fun in years! The Moore Theater is a perfect venue for concerts, and PJ Morton was spectacular! His band was so talented, and from start to finish, it was amazing. A night I will never forget, and I will never pass up a change to see him live again.
The PJ concert was absolutely amazing. I have seen him in concert numerous times and each one has exceeded my expectation. It was also special because I was able to see my cousin play percussions for him! I can’t wait for the next one. If you have never seen him before you are MISSING OUT.
This was one of the most pleasant concert experiences I've had in years. It was hassle-free, from venue arrival to parking and seating, making the show even more enjoyable. The concert was great, PJ sounded just like his records, and his band and background singers were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the opening DJ, Arie Spins, she was energetic and had us ready to go by the time he came on. I will definitely come out to see him again.

From beginning to end this concert was EVERYTHING! The band, background and featured artist was AMAZING! His voice kept me in a vocal trance. I would see him 100 more times!

DJ Arie Spins set a whole party time before the concert started and it was up from there! The band was impeccable, the background singers and their whole faces off, and PJ himself took through the gamut of emotions. It was like an Rollercoaster ride that you didn't want to end! I literally looked up tickets to the next show at the end of that show! Please go see PJ Morton live!
This was my first time to a PJ Morton concert and I was not disappointed. The singing was great and the way PJ interacted with the audience added another layer to the concert which the audience thoroughly enjoyed. I will definitely catch his next concert in my area.

If you are looking for a live music encounter with outrageous musicianship not only from the headliner but also from a very talented group of bandmates. The PJ Morton Experience is a show you don't want to miss. He mixed neo-soul, gospel, and R&B like a fine gumbo (pun intended he's from Nawlins) that is seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. This is my third time seeing him and each time I leave feeling a little lighter, and my day is a bit brighter.....ok yall dont make me preach, JUST GET A DARN TICKET AND YOU WILL KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!! lol Peace and Blessings
