The Pittsburgh Power game was very exciting. You could really get into it just like a regular football game. We plan to go back to more games this season.

  • Pittsburgh Power vs Iowa

This was our first time to Consol Energy Center. Very nice, state of the art facility. This was a surprise for my son's 9th birthday. We kept it a secret until he saw someone in the parking lot with a Pittsburgh Power shirt on and he was all smiles. He loved it. We went on the field after the game and the players were signing programs, football, shirts or whatever you gave them. Every player we talked to thanked us for coming and was extremely polite. Thank you a very nice evening!!!

  • Would definitely go again

We loved being so close to the playing field. Alittle confused with the rules. Hope this catches on in Pittsburgh

  • Pittsburgh Power = Exciting Football

by TheeABR on 3/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

I've attended the first two Power games and I have to say what an exciting "brand" of football. I have stat in the lower levels both times and I truely feel like I am a part of the the action.

  • Definitely worth it

    by My6Cats on 3/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

The game was fun and exciting (and it helps that the Power won!). Not all vendor stands were open but overall there were plenty of food/beverage options and Consol Energy Center is simply an outstanding venue. I'm convinced there isn't a bad seat in the house. The game - this was my first arena football game so I didn't really know what to expect. The energy level of the crowd was good as was attendence. With General Admission you can sit just about anywhere in the 200 level. Views are all good. I would absolutely buy General Admission again. Unless you want the opportunity to get a ball (then you should sit in the lower seats of the end zone), General Admission is the way to go!

We had a great time. From the game, to the cheerleaders/dance team, to the announcer, to the special effects gave us an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed the game from beginning to end. Thank you Lynn Swann for making this happen in Pittsburgh!! We would definitely go again.

  • An amazing event

by LovelyBlackPearl on 3/14/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

What excitement! AFL is new to me and while I really didn't know the rules at the beginning, it was easy to pick up along the way (and they were listed in the program)! While I am an avid NFL football fan, I wanted to try something new. I enjoyed every minute of it! Even the fans sitting around me were entertaining. Everyone had a lot of fun!! My seats were great at the end of the end zone!

  • Loved the excitement

  • Fun and Fast Paced

by HugeCCRFan on 3/14/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

My first Arena Football game, we had a blast! The game is very fast paced and the spectators are right on top of the action. The structure of the game is spectator friendly. Except for the TV commercial breaks the pace is pretty close to non-stop. The participants are very skilled football players, there were some great plays by players on both teams during the course of the game. The venue, the new Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, is a first rate arena.
