If you ever wondered what "seizing the moment" sounds like personified, look no further than Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, the four-piece musical powerhouse known for their head-turning high-energy psychedelic funk shows. The Maryland quartet -- "Scrambled Greg" Ormont [vocals, guitar], Jeremy Schon [guitar, vocals], Ben [bass, vocals], and Alex "Gator" Petropulos [drums, vocals]--not only squeezes the juice out of every second, but they harness life's energy within their hypnotic hybrid of funk, rock and psychedelic groove.
Renowned as a live tour de force, PPPP has tallied tens of millions of streams and performed to impassioned crowds everywhere from Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Capitol Theatre to festivals such as Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Jam Cruise, and more. With a devout audience, affectionately known as "The Flock," and a trail of sold-out tours behind them, the band takes a major step forward once again on their seventh full-length offering, Day In Time, released on April 26, 2024.
"Whether we're recording or touring, we're on a mission to spread positivity, to remind people to enjoy life and embrace each moment," notes Greg. "15 years as a band have flown by. We started in college and now we're all growing up, most of us have even become dads, so we're evolving personally and musically, and we're happily embracing those changes. That said, we still feel like kids when we're getting wild on stage and know we always will."

Tremendous show from PPPP. The last time I caught them was at Oceans Calling and I was so glad they made it to Dallas. Setlist was amazing, the crowd was great, and the sound was perfect. Am so glad I was able to make the show. Thanks PPPP and Echo Stage!
Pigeons shone brightly. With their non-stop high energy and seamless mixing of songs, both their own and Grateful Dead/Led Zeppelin, it was an unforgettable evening. Can't wait to see them again.
Bands were great. Venue was great. Staff was great. Will be going back at the end of November for Neighbor.
Was a great concert overall. Big Something started off strong and sent a positive fun vibe. Pigeons first set was good, but not great, and then they turned up the intensity big time for the second set, was one of the better sets I’ve seen this year! The Paradise Rock Club venue is great, it was full of people and energy but wasn’t overcrowded. Because they keep lanes clear around the back of the crowd there is plenty of space to move around and get a decent view. Highly recommend!
Did the VIP met and greet and was not disappointed at all. Got lucky and just one other couple got the VIP package. Was able to get super candid with the band and they even asked me for a song request. Other than that being so much perfection, I ran into old friends and made new ones. The vibe was just incredible. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, one of my favs, crushed it and the venue is just so incredibly intimate. I was right there at the front the whole time and my face got melted in the best way ever. Thanks to PPPP and thanks to my fav venue, Greenfield Lake Amphitheater. 🖖😘❤️❤️❤️🤟🤯
One of my favorites of all time. Please bring them back asap!
Third time seeing Pigeons, blown away by how polished this show was. Sound engineering was incredible for a temporary venue. Clean, Crisp, and FUNKY!
First time seeing this band. They put on such an amazing show. Extremely talented musicians. Would definitely pay to see them again. Also loved the two opening bands; Melt and the Infamous string dusters. Never heard of Melt before, now I can’t stop listening to them! The lead singer has the voice of an angel, so soulful. Everyone in that band is great, and I love their sound. Now a big Melt fan.
Bought tickets with the anticipation this was going to be on summer stage at the stone pony. last minute it was moved inside. no discount was given. the openers were GREAT. the main band didn't even go on until 10:30 pm when the show started at 6. at this point we were ready to leave. Not sure if the venue or the band is to blame on this one but i will probably not be going to any future shows. Last years show was incredible.. this year felt muddled and not managed.
