Phoenix Mercury History
The Phoenix Mercury are a professional basketball team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Founded in 1997, the Mercury are one of the league’s original eight franchises. The team reached their first Finals in 1998 and have made six total appearances, winning in 2007, 2009 and 2014. The Mercury’s legacy is marked by two major No. 1 picks: Diana Taurasi in 2004 and Brittney Griner in 2013. As members of the Mercury, Taurasi won the regular season MVP in 2009 and set multiple WNBA records, including most career points, most three-pointers and most field goals made, while Griner earned two Defensive Player of the Year Awards and broke several block records. Ahead of the 2025 season, Taurasi announced her retirement and the Mercury acquired five-time All-Star Alyssa Thomas, who continues to hold the WNBA record for career triple-doubles.

The game and seats were fantastic!!! Very happy with my experience ☺️
Whatever age these games are for all. A wonderful night out with friends and family.
It was a GREAT EXPERIENCE I would love to visit the arena and watch the game on the floor where I was
The experience at a women's basketball game is a colorful and exciting event. The entertainment between segments of the game is also entertaining for everyone. The experience is an eventful place to be in a safe gathering and willing patrons to participate not only from a seating arrangement but also from cameras to the side cheering for one's best team and sport.
The Phoenix Mercury are awesome. The entertainment is fantastic. The atmosphere is incredible.
Like the ticketmaster app quick way to get into games concerts etc Had a very pleasant experience always
We had a good time and great seats. Enjoyed seeing and being there. Thanks.
I was disappointed that I paid for great seats only to have 2 rows of kids with thunder sticks that the Mercury venue was handing out. The noise was fine but trying to watch the game with them impeding my view of the game was horrible! I will not be back during a summer daytime game!
Me My daughter and my granddaughter had a ball seeing our team The Mercury win and we will be attending the Mercury vs. Sky Game
Great game nice facility. But how anyone can sit in 200 section with the seats being so small and close together is ridiculous. Paying $200 plus to basically sit on your lap is not my idea of a good time.
The event was a total success. So much energy and fun. Everything was very organized, from parking to concessions. Event host's interaction with everyone was an added entertainment bonus. Audience participation with the on-court action was fun too. Ticketmaster app made purchasing tickets and presenting the tickets for entrance stressless and perfect.
I go to as many mercury games as I can, but this game against the sparks was the most frustrating day. I buy a parking pass to the Jefferson garage each time I go. This time they clearly sold more parking passes than they had parking spaces. It took me 30 minutes to park so I didn’t get into the arena until halftime.
Great seats and a really good game right up to the end. It was my first Mercury game in a while and I loved how they keep the vibe up all game. I even caught a tee shirt from the tee shirt cannon,
We all had such a good time at this game. Very easy to see everything that was happening. Looking forward to seeing more games! Concessions were crazy over priced! But everyone was pleasant and patient
The mercury game was so full of excitement. We got to enjoy watching the Mercury and the Indiana Fever. Such fun and the crowd was great! We cannot wait to attend another game.
Great time, fun environment! Mercury should have won maybe next time.
Great arena !! Nice smaller place great venue, easy in, great food.
The Mercury games are so much fun. Great basketball! Wonderful venue, amazing staff.
Only took 45min to get out of the parking garage which is pretty fast for a large event. Seats where super comfy.
It is so much fun to watch the Mercury play. They give it their all, and I couldn't pick a favorite player if I tried. Getting free tickets from Fry's was just the icing on the cake.
