The Mercury Vs the Sparks was an awesome game. I took my daughter and sister with me and we had a great time. We loved watching the daddie daughter dance off!
I got this email for $10 behind the bench and it was a super experience!! I would definitely do it again!!
The game and entertainment was great. The fans were awesome. I came in from out of town for the game and it was great. Very disappointed Diana did not play due to suspension as that was the whole reason we flew in for the game. On the other hand Cappie did her thing. The only bad thing is the restrooms were filthy and this was before the game had even started.
it was so much fun. game went into overtime! wnba games in phoenix are always great, nearly full. the heat is horrible in phoenix but other than that, it was great! i attend every year
Great affordable event...for the family or individuals who appreciate basketball
Though the Mercury is my favorite team, I like Seattle too, and I was happy to see Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson and Swin Cash playing in person. Seattle will be a team to reckon with in the West, and the Storm showed why that night. It would have been nice if the Mercury had won, but it's OK because that was the only loss in Phoenix so far this year. I'm very excited that Penny Taylor is coming back! If they continue the great work, our Mercury ladies may be able to bring Phoenix another championship this year.
Great game but my ears are still ringing from the screams of over 5000 very young schoolkids. If you go and see a matinee Mercury game during the school holidays make sure to take ear defenders!
This was the very first Mercury game I have attended. My wife thought it was would be a good way to spend the day. I thought why not. I was not expecting anything great. When we got off the light rail and walked over to Airways Center I saw lines of school busses off loading scores of multicolored, rugrats, crumbcrushers, ankle biters and assorted curtain climbers. I thought boy this is going to be interesting. Being retired and not yet a grandfather I figured I would tolerate the "campers" but would probably bail out of the game early. It didn't happen. The entire experience is one I will remember for a long time. All the kids were well behaved and well supervised. From the fantastic rendition of the national athem by a young lady with a voice much bigger than her munchkin size to the final tic of the clock, my wife and I were enthralled. The fact that the Mercury won the game with some inspired basketball was only a great ending to a fantastic day. Mascots, timeout contests, well behaved but enthusiastic fans and the piercing screams made this a day to remember. My compliments to the Mercury and Airways Center staff, hip hop dancers, ushers, camper keepers, and all who were involved. We shall be back and not just because we enjoy watching a winning team. We shall return because you guys do a great job and show you have fun doing it.
We took our two 7 months old twin girls. And they loved it. They were very well behaved. The game is always moving. It is never dull. They always have something going on during time out etc. They get the crowd moving. They are always involving the crowd and everything.
We loved the seats that we got through this website. They were in the corner of the stadium, so ok viewing, but the most fantastic thing is that they were very comfortable - plush seats with a back and arms with cup holders. Only, the game was not as exciting as we had hoped.
The game was awsome..loved the seats and my girls had a good time..1st time going to a game and we all enjoyed it..thank you very much
The women's game of basketball is truely a thing of beauty. Lots of action and great teamwork makes for an awesome experience.
We had EXCELLENT seats and the game kept us on the edge of our seat the whole time (a good thing). It was very entertaining and the staff at the event were very friendly.
After moving to the Phoenix area the end of 2007 I finally got to go to my first Phoenix Mercury game. I was so excited because, you see, I am a huge Diana Terasi fan because I moved to AZ from CT and am still a fan of the UCONN Husky ladies team. Diana was a standout player and I became a fan then. Anyway, I had a fabulous time and the game was great against the San Antonio Stars. I had good seats and the energy around me was awesome. I leave AZ during the summer but if I can tickets for the Sept. games I will be there again.
The fans are great and the Mercury are always exciting to watch, making for a great experience overall.
I had a Wonderful Time. all the side show stuff was very interesting to watch. I loved the dogs, and the 3pt. Shootout. The Game was so exciting in that the Mercury came from behind t pull out a big Home WIN.
The opening night atmosphere was electrifying and party-like. The Mercury kept us wondering whether they would win their first game of the season. But the fourth quarter was classic "run and gun" Mercury basketball. I believe the "Mighty Mercury" are back. Thank goodness !!!
I had a great time...they were amazing! I can't wait to go back.
If your looking for something to do I would highly recommend going to see the Phoenix Mercury. They are so much fun to watch. The womens game is so much more exciting to watch than the mens game. The games are inexpensive and the Hip Hop squad makes the evening entertaining.
Went to my first WNBA game out of state, and it proved to be worth it. Great energy, great seats, and my fav team won! Look forward to doing it again next season!
