About

Pentatonix are a three-time Grammy Award-winning a cappella group from Arlington, Texas. Their breakthrough came when they won the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off in 2011, and they gained further recognition by uploading videos(Opens in new tab) to their YouTube channel. The quintet has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200: Pentatonix (2015) and the platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas (2016). Consisting of singers Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kristin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee, Pentatonix have been invited to perform everywhere from The White House to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They’ve collaborated with artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Lindsey Stirling, and performed with Dolly Parton on her classic hit “Jolene,” which earned Pentatonix a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2017. The talented singers regularly perform in sold-out arenas worldwide, and have toured with acts like Kelly Clarkson, Rachel Platten and Echosmith.

    The group puts on a fantastic show! Their vocals are spot on, the soloists rock and the 'meat and potatoes' are mind blowing. My ONLY complaint was that I couldn't see. You need to get there early or get one of the few seats on the upper level if you want to be able to see all of the stage comfortably. I spent the night on my tip-toes and craning my neck to see but still couldn't always. Sound was good - bass was a little too loud and at times overpowered the lead vocals.

    Usually I find that live concerts are hit or miss because I expect the artist's singing to be the same as in a recording studio, but Pentatonix is AMAZZZZZZING live! You can't go wrong with them! They're fantastic. So much energy and great singing abilities!

    Pentatonix was absolutely fantastic! They had a great mix of their older songs and some new ones as well. I would definitely recommend this concert to anyone that loves a cappella or PTX, or great music in general!

    I thought Pentatonix put on a great show. I loved the songs they sang, plus the fun things they did between sets, like having the crowd sing or Kevin playing the cello. But the Fillmore isn't a great venue. They pack SO many people into the space, and unless you're standing in front, you won't see anything. I'd recommend paying a little extra for the balcony seats so you can actually SEE the show.

    Pentatonix really knows how to put on a great show. Their interaction with the audience made each and every ticket holder feel as though they were a special guest at an exclusive event.     Pentatonix delivered an outstanding show (as usual). The venue itself was not the greatest...but the group sounded excellent! Being a shorter person, it was somewhat difficult to see the band without straining (I was standing near the back on the bar side).

    I've cheered on Pentatonix since their premiere on NBC's hit show: The Sing-Off. They were incredible live and I can't wait to see them again! Best concert I've been to hands down, they were always in tune with one another and their musical abilities resounded within the entire theatre. If you're young still, get general admission tickets and get there early to get a good spot. I had friends who sat in the seats above but I'm glad I bought the general admission tickets. I was so close to them and they were amazing in every song that they did. They really know how to please a crowd!

    Amazing show, like listening to the radio but with an amazing live and acapella aspect. They really make each song their own and their originals were great too. These guys really know how to put on a show and the cello beat boxing just completely brought the house down. Plus we all got to sing parts to a song and be a part of a Harlem Shake video!! They do a great job of interacting with the audience! They were funny, able to improv and were so calm and cool. Their voices sounded GREAT! with no instruments they filled the venue with sound and there was not a single note sung off key, it's truly mind blowing!
