An uplifting and most enjoyable experience I''ve come to expect from the PSO's Pops concerts. Their performance and that of their guest, Tony Desare, were musically and technically flawless.
Tony DeSare and the Pensacola symphony put on an awesome performance . Looking forward to attending next year.
looked forward to NYE with a night at Saengers Pensacola. We thought it would be more of a tribute to piano artists like Billy Joel and Elton John (based on advertisements). It was actually more like a lounge act consisting of covers of : Bee Gees, Journey, Ray Charles, Elton, Joel, Jerry Lee Louis and some originals, all accompanied by the PSO, which was nice, but his voice had a limited range for some of the songs covered. He did do a phenomenal Rhapsody in Blue on the piano, which was truly the highlight. Overall, a nice evening, even if not what we expected. The audience seemed to really appreciate the show.
This program could not have been better. The orchestra was exceptional . The Piano Man was amazing and the program was a wide variety of music. I especially enjoyed the medley of Elton Jon, Ray Charles, and Rhapsody in Blue.
We had the most amazing time listening to this wonderful group of musicians. 5 star performance.
Phenomenal performance of Verde Requiem by the symphony orchestra and the University of Southern Mississippi Choral group. As a parent of one of the USM choral singers, it was an honor for our group to be a part of this performance!! The theater is exquisite.
Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the performance. The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra is phenomenal! Wonderful renditions of great songs. The Cirque troupe was so amazing! Who knew you could pack that much talent and energy into such a confined space?!? Looking forward to next year.
Very well organized entry. Beautiful surroundings and great acoustics. The show was constantly entertaining throughout. Excellent job to both groups performing!
The Sanger theater is a jewel in downtown Pensacola. The performance was a wonderful blend of modern and classical composers. I’ll go again next year.
The symphony was a great show, however the seats are smaller than airplane seats and are in serious updating.
Beautiful old theater, nice crowd, excellent acoustics, seats are pretty small (but you get that in old theaters...people were smaller back in the day, my first symphony and I really enjoyed it. If you go to Saenger Theater have dinner at Iron restaurant - fantastic food, great service, and 2 block walk to theater.

This was the perfect event to celebrate Valentine's Day with my sweetheart! It was the first time attending a PSO event and our first time at the theater...but, it will not be the last! :)

We had a great time welcoming in the new year with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra. They are all remarkable musicians and the show was great.
This show was top notch! I am always in awe of watching live symphonies and this was no exception. Hearing classics from Hollywood really transports you to the movies, it was absolutely amazing. THEN the characters appeared on stage to add that little extra more. 20/10 would recommend!
The concert was great, fantastic selections of music and even though we were in the very last row at the tip top of the theater, the sound and the view were amazing!
PSO gave a stellar performance. My only complaint is the seats in the Pensacola Saenger Theatre are narrow with very shallow leg room for someone over 6 feet tall.
