  • AWESOME!

    by D Bell on 11/11/25Ritz Theatre - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Peabo still sounds like he did the first time I heard him in the 70's at Florida A&M University. He is entertaining, personable and rocked the audience. This is a must see concert if you want clear and precise music. His vocals are perfect. Mr. BRYSON is a real showman.

Loved everything about the performance. All vocals were stellar as was the supporting instrumental team.

  • Past his Prime

by Bobh on 11/9/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 1 out of 5

Haley Rheinhart began the show for a half hour. Disappointing. Also poor acoustics. We were looking forward to hear the Peabo we had been accustomed to hearing. Not so. He did a ten minute preamble before each song, reminiscing of his past. He didn’t have the energy or the voice he once had.

  • Nostalgia and beautiful music!

by Donna N. on 11/9/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

It was a magical evening of nostalgia, beautiful music, and stories, along with some wise commentary. Peabo, a treasure, at the age of 74, did a wonderful job of offering up back in the day tunes that remain part of the soundtrack of our lives. He also played some songs from his new album. I am grateful to witness this moment in time.

  • rude audience uninspired performer

by Hross on 11/9/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 2 out of 5

the worst audience I have ever seen. From being blinded by their selfie light To making the concert about them shouting out to the performer to people on my aisle pushing past us in the isle trying to leave early. A woman almost pushed my wife over the seats in front of us in order to leave before the concerts end. No wonder Peabo dint do an encore! However, Haley Reinhart was an excellent opening act.

  • Voice still smooth

by CeeCee on 10/5/25Cannon Center for the Performing Arts - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

I had never seen Peabo before but i was familiar with his music. His voice was just as good as i had always heard. He came down in the audience and made a real connection. The duet was good. Idid not feel cheated by the substitute singer. It was a show not to miss.

Year after year, the River City Jazz Fest continues to be stellar. This year was no different. I enjoyed each act including Peabo who sounds exactly like he did years ago. It’s is a must-see/hear.
