  • Peabo Bryson and Special guest Deniece Williams

by Ebelgato on 8/22/10Carter Barron Amphitheatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the concert was excellent. Peabo Bryson still has s gifted voice after all these years. He hasn't lost a step, on the other side I was a bit disappointed with Deniece Williams due to the fact that she did not sing a few songs that to me a lot of people were waiting for but she did O,K. My girlfriends point was that she felt that Peabo and Deniece could have sung some of the songs that Deniece and Johnny Mathias recorded together.

  • PEABO & NIECY

THIS WAS AN AWESOME EVENT OVERALL. I REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW, MUSIC, CROWD & LIGHTS. THE FOOD CHOICES COULD USE SOME HELP AND THE LINES WERE TOO LONG. BUT IT'S REALLY NICE TO SEE EVERYONE GETTING ALONG TRULY ENJOYING THEMSELVES. IN SHORT THIS WAS A REAL CLASS ACT. MY WIFE & I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME.

I wasn't feeling well before I went to the concert. That concert was a big surprise. It was the best I've seen this summer.

  • PEABO DAZZLED

by SIXFTCHOCMAN on 8/22/10Carter Barron Amphitheatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

PEABO AS ALWAYS SOUNDED AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME, HE ENGAGED THE AUDIENCE AND MADE EVERYONE FEEL RIGHT AT HOME, HIS DUETS WITH DENISE WILLIAMS WERE WONDERFUL, AS SHE WAS. HE DIDN'T GET A CHANCEF TO SING A LOT OF HIS OLDER MATERIAL, BUT WHAT HE DID SING WAS DONE MASTERFULLY. DENISE WILLIAMS SOUNDED SURPISINGLY GOOD AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, BUT SHE COULD HAVE SUNG MORE OF HER HITS, (SILLY), BUT THE INTERACTON BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM WAS ELECTRIC.

  • sounded just like they did 30 years ago

by GeeWhizAgain on 8/22/10Carter Barron Amphitheatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

superb performance by two vets who've still got the touch and the voices are still like fine tuned instruments. They have taken care of themselves and perserved thier God Given Talent.

  • PEABO BRYSON WITH SPECIAL GUEST DENIECE WILLIAMS

by TastyK on 8/22/10Carter Barron Amphitheatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. It was so good seeing the both of them together, I just wish they performed solo a little more. The show just wasn't long enough.

  • PEABO WAS MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED

by PETE on 2/18/10Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

I HAVE SEEN MANY ARTISTS IN MY LIFE. INCLUDING CELINE, MARIAH, ANDREA BOCELLI, ETC. PEABO WAS IN THE TOP THREE EVER! WHAT AN AMAZING POWERFUL VOICE. WITH THE RIGHT SONG WRITERS THIS MAN COULD EASILY FILL UP THE UNITED CENTER IN CHICAGO. EVEN MY YOUNGER 26 YEAR OLD SON AND HIS FIANCE' WERE STUNNED BY PEABO'S VOICE. THANK YOU PEABO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Peabo Gets You Your Moneys Worth

Peabo Bryson was fantastic! We were interested primarily because of his work with The Walt Disney Company in Beauty & The Beast and Aladdin. Peabo did A Whole New World for his encore which made our evening. A majority of the songs we were not familiar with but there is no denying his singing chops. A beautiful show that was well worth the money in a venue that is second to none in MIlwaukee in my opinion. I guess the only thing I could complain about if anything was the fact that the second grammy song Beauty & The Beast was not performed. If you have two grammys I would include them both in every performance. When a song receives a grammy you can trust that your audience will always want to here it. Go and see Peabo if you get the opportunity. He is the consumate entertainer!

  • Peabo was very late!

by MsPam on 2/15/10McFarlin Auditorium - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

Peabo's performance was incredible. Unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the 1 and a 1/2 hour late start for his performance. The concert was schedule to begin at 8pm, the doors opened after 8. I was ready to request my money back for the tickets. The opening acts were okay. His niece was his lifesaver. I fell asleep waiting for him to take the stage. Overall, he was great. I wish he would have sang more of his classics.

  • Peabo the Performer!

    by Ball4Life on 2/15/10McFarlin Auditorium - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent vocals. Peabo was the consummate professional performing in an inadequate venue to a sparce crowd. He sounds as good or better than he did 30 years ago. Loved it. Loved his commitment to excellence throughout the show.

  • Peabo was great!

by Vuhvuh on 2/15/10McFarlin Auditorium - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed Peabo's performance! He put on a memorable show. At times, the music was louder than the voices. The performer's voice should be the highlight of the show.

  • Peabo Bryson - Dallas Valentine's Week-end

by Bluesladye on 2/14/10McFarlin Auditorium - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

This event was held at McFarlin Auditorium on SMU campus in Dallas, which also happened to be NBA All Star Week-end and the biggest snowstorm in 100 years in north Texas. As a result of the weather, the concert was not well attended. Only the loyal Peabo fans showed up. . The opening act was followed by a 45 minute wait for which there was no explanation. Somewhat disappointing. However when Peabo came on stage, all was forgiven as he did his usual fine job of beautiful melodies, all the old standards, including 'Feel the Fire' and his wonderful new release 'Missing You.' He is truly a showman. I had front row seats, was with my sweetness who garnered for me one of the Peabo trademark roses. So at the end of the day, I was a happy. girl.
