Pantera is a heavy metal band formed in Arlington, Texas in 1981 by brothers Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell, and is currently composed of vocalist Phil Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown, and touring musicians Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. After a number of buzzy releases throughout the 1980s, the band dropped their breakout album, Cowboys From Hell, in 1990, which established Pantera as leaders in the groove metal genre. The first group to land an extreme metal album at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their 1994 album Far Beyond Driven, Pantera were hailed as torchbearers of the genre, paving the way for a long and successful reign that included two subsequent albums and four Grammy nominations. The pioneering band has sold over 20 million albums over the course of their career and are credited as a musical inspiration by many acts in the metal space. Pantera entered a hiatus in 2001, and shortly thereafter, founding member Dimebag Darrell was killed onstage in 2004. A new era began when surviving members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown returned to the road in 2023 for their first tour as Pantera in over 20 years. Now, the band is set to embark on a 2025 outing, titled Pantera’s The Heaviest Tour of the Summer.

Great venue many choice’s to drink or eat. Very spacious
This show was a phenomenal tribute. Zaak Wylde did an over the top job of recreating that infamous sound! Absolutely a must see!
Phenomenal show from both LOG and Pantera!!! Pantera ABSOLUTELY tore it up!! It’s like they never took a 20 year break. Of course I know the reasoning behind the break but WOW… excellent sets, love the addition of Zach Wylde who killed it on the axe!!!! CFH forever!!!!
PANTERA freaking killed it! Phil sounded better than ever. Rex was a beast. Charlie and Zakk played with such passion, respect, and heart. Anyone who says otherwise is just obtuse. LoG, Randy, please know where you are. Referring to call it Philadelphia while in NJ is not cool. There is a difference.
Hell of a show! Brought back memories of seeing them in the early 90s. Got to see them again two nights later when they opens for Metallica and they were awesome then too. If you have a chance to see them take it, especially on the headline tour with Lamb of God.
Pantera and Lamb of God put on a phenomenal show. Freedom mortgage pavilion and its staff need to get their act together when it comes to accommodating people for parking. We waited close to 40 mins to get into the parking lot. They let 6 cars in, then stopped the 7th car and everyone after because the parking attendants couldn't figure out how to park everyone while still having room for the big rigs, who share the lot, to get out. It started an uproar. Everyone had to wait a half hour for a manager to be present to direct the parking layout. Noone took cash. They didn't credit anyone for having to wait and missing the opening act.
Wow unbelievable how great the show was Lamd of God kick Ass
Great crowd no one was out of control and having a good time. Pantera killed it.
Both bands were phenomenal. They sounded amazing. A great tribute to two members of the greatest all time, taken far too soon.
This was by far one of the best shows of the year. Lamb Of God absolutely killed it.
I have seen all variations of the original band and this was just as amazing. The tributes consistently throughout the entire show to the founding members who passed away were incredible. Brought back so many memories of the 90s.
I was a little nervous that after almost 20 years off that they wouldn't sound so goof. Well, I was so wrong! It was one if the best concerts I've ever been to!! From start to finish, they killed it!! I was very impressed!!
Killer show..sounded amazing..staff was efficient and helpful..
One of the best concerts I've been too. They performed awesome. I think the Brothers would be proud.
On the lawn and felt like I was right up front! Love that they let you bring your own water in
No, it’ll never be the same. That said if you’re a Pantera fan I’ve no clue how someone can’t have a great fucking time at this show. Awesome setlist, sound, and upgraded production (for Pantera). \m/ Honestly do want to catch another show on this tour.
