Pantera is a heavy metal band formed in Arlington, Texas in 1981 by brothers Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell, and is currently composed of vocalist Phil Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown, and touring musicians Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. After a number of buzzy releases throughout the 1980s, the band dropped their breakout album, Cowboys From Hell, in 1990, which established Pantera as leaders in the groove metal genre. The first group to land an extreme metal album at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their 1994 album Far Beyond Driven, Pantera were hailed as torchbearers of the genre, paving the way for a long and successful reign that included two subsequent albums and four Grammy nominations. The pioneering band has sold over 20 million albums over the course of their career and are credited as a musical inspiration by many acts in the metal space. Pantera entered a hiatus in 2001, and shortly thereafter, founding member Dimebag Darrell was killed onstage in 2004. A new era began when surviving members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown returned to the road in 2023 for their first tour as Pantera in over 20 years. Now, the band is set to embark on a 2025 outing, titled Pantera’s The Heaviest Tour of the Summer.

This was my first time seeing Pantera and they were incredible.
Venue was ok, but seeing Pantera, minus Vinnie and Dimebag, was worth it. I mean, 20+ years since last touring. Definitely worth seeing if you are a Pantera fan. Went with a buddy and my wife. My wife is not a huge Pantera fan, but she even said is was a good show.
Pantera and lamb of god, for me, was the best metal show I’ve seen so far this year. There were, to me, some downfalls tho. I didn’t know that ruoff home music center in noblesville indiana had went to accepting only credit cards. That’s ok, but I feel like there should be a notice of such when purchasing tickets. I also think that there should be more blankets available for purchase if they see it’s close to selling out of said blankets. Other than that, for me, it was simply put, the best metal show this year.
While I think they should be called something different, it was great to hear the songs played live again, and they killed it.
Downright fantastic show. I personally hoped they would have done more off the CFH album than the FFD album such as Primal Concrete Sledge and Psycho Holiday but overall frankly no complaints. Absolutely worth it.
Concert was better than expected. Great bands and awesome heavy music.
Pantera was amazing. I know all the original members weren't there, but this is the next best thing. They sounded great and the stage set was super cool. I was wondering if Phil would still be able to still pull it off, and he did! Zakk Wylde was crazy good, unbelievable. I would def go see them again!
Great show, went with a friend. Getting into the event was easy, security was good. Venue prices were crazy, (Hershey Stadium) but we didn't purchase anything aside from tour merch. Saw Lamb of God + Pantera
Pantera was awesome great seeing them again after 30 years
the venue was fine, stuff really gently, the sound great, but unfurtunally the view from where I was seating was't really clear at all, other wise I could pay cheaper at the lawn and have space to see the band playing
Killer show. No complaints. Zack was a perfect Dime Bag Stunt Double!
Phil and crew brought it. I need to get to 50 characters
It shows like Pantera that make you keep going to concerts. Even at my age they were everything that I remembered and more and even though it wasn’t the original band members, I couldn’t tell the difference they havent lost a beat. Hoping they come back again because I want to see them one more time.
Having never seen Pantera, they put on an amazing show. I went for my boyfriend who passed away 11 months ago. Pantera was his favorite band.
The show was awesome. Tons of positive energy throughout the arena. The visual was great. The sound was fantastic. They had a great stage presence. Nailed every song like it was 20 years ago. A must see.
Such an amazing show . The place was packed early on . So awesome to be able to listen to Pantera live again (RIP boys) . The sounds were great, from the front of the lawn to the back . Mosh pits going on day long and no one seemed to get out of hand . Great job all around
Pit your phone away and live a little!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having the privilege of seeing the original Pantera multiple times, I was not sure what to expect with the tribute lineup. They were amazing. I have to give credit to Charlie and Zak, they really learned those songs flawlessly. Rex was holding it down and Phil’s voice was on point. While I wish I could once more see my favorite band of all time with Vince and Dime, the new lineup payed them much respect and I am grateful that I got the opportunity to see this show. If you are on the fence of going to see these guys at an upcoming show, don’t be a fool. Go!
It was the best show I’ve ever seen!! The arena was jam packed wall to wall people! It had to be the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen there
Pantera was really awesome. So glad I went. I'd go see them again anytime!
