Panic! At the Disco In Concert

One of pop's most exciting live acts, Panic! At the Disco has long commanded stages around the world with their vibrant, passionate performances. The band first stepped onto a stage in 2005 after recording their debut album, ‘A Fever You Can't Sweat Out.' They proved to be even more dynamic on stage than in the studio, and began a long round of touring by 2006, including their Nothing Rhymes with Circus tour, which involved an elaborate setup of dance numbers and skits. As each release has become more ambitious, so have their live shows. Frontman Brendon Urie remains a magnetic leader, playing both the untouchable rock star and the showstopping theatrical performer. You may even be lucky enough to see him effortlessly pull off Queen's mega-classic "Bohemian Rhapsody," which he performed during the Death of a Bachelor tour and Pray for the Wicked tour.

Panic! At the Disco Background

Panic! At the Disco started innocently enough among four teenagers from the Las Vegas suburbs. Vocalist and guitarist Brendon Urie, guitarist Ryan Ross, drummer Spencer Smith, and bassist Brent Wilson came together in 2004 and began using Smith's grandmother's living room as a space to practice playing blink-182 songs. They decided to call themselves Panic! At the Disco, a line plucked from a song called "Panic" by California rock band Name Taken. Soon they were writing their own pop-punk tunes and sending demos to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz. Though most of the band was still in high school and they had yet to perform a live show, Wentz signed them immediately to his new Fueled by Ramen imprint label Decaydance Records. Their debut album, ‘A Fever You Can't Sweat Out,' was unleashed to the world in September 2005. First single "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" landed on the Billboard Hot 100, and by 2006 they were already headlining tours. In 2008, they returned with the more psychedelic ‘Pretty. Odd.' The following year, both Ross and Jon Walker (who'd replaced Wilson on bass in 2006) departed the group, but Urie and Smith stayed on as a duo and released 2011's ‘Vices & Virtues.' Going forward, Panic! continued to heavily experiment with their sound. Hip-hop and dance styles were woven into 2013's ‘Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!' which would be the last record to feature Smith on drums. From that point on, Urie would remain the only original member. He continues to push boundaries as the steady frontman of Panic!, letting the band's sound further evolve with 2016's ‘Death of a Bachelor' and 2018's ‘Pray for the Wicked.

    PATD!

by D Ro on 11/8/22Kia Forum - Inglewood

My favorite venue to see th at personally, since the sound is amazing and for a theatrical/showman band like this, it’s perfect. Can’t wait until they’re back. Buying and receiving tickets was easy, though the price gouges suck for resale. Cheers!

    Good but not great

by Steff on 11/7/22Footprint Center - Phoenix

Honestly LOVE panic, but the set list was weird 3 old songs, the whole new album and then old songs. It was just a weird mix. I feel like he should have mixed the songs up a bit

    Incredible as always!

by Kelsie on 11/7/22United Center - Chicago

P!ATD always puts on an incredible show and this was no different. Being that they have not toured in quite sometime, this was certainly all one could ask for. A great mix of songs from albums, energetic crowd, and of course the great Brendon Urie singing his heart out is something to always be grateful to witness. Can’t wait for the next tour / show.

100/10 - Looking forward to Seeing Panic! Again!

by MelSmrz on 11/6/22United Center - Chicago

Seats were in section 209 across from the stage. Great view of everything head-on without obstruction. Show was quickly rescheduled from Sept to October because of some Covid issues with the band/crew. Easy access to restrooms and concessions for drinks. Merch was only available on 1st floor. I prefer the UC over most other Chicagoland venues, so I will always choose this venue over others. It was my first time seeing Panic! live and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! If you’re a fan and want to dress up, sing-a-long, and see an incredible show — Go! The openers were good and certainly will be mixed into my Spotify, but for an amazing live show and everyone just wanting to sing along and enjoy themselves then this is the show for you! Brendon even commented how loud we were and had to turn up his in-ear multiple times. Such a natural born performer and sings LIVE the entire show! His set is a little under 2 hours by itself. Amazing graphics, lights, pyro, and production value overall.

    Upsetting

by Jessica on 11/3/22Amalie Arena - Tampa

I'm not one to write reviews, but when I received the email to speak on behalf of this particular experience I knew I had to say something. I'm sure this show was AMAZING for those who got to attend, but I however was not able to make it due to personal reasons. Panic! At The Disco has been one of my favorite bands for years so fittingly, I splurged to purchase the Electric Angels VIP experience 5 months in advanced. Upon finding out that I wasn't going to be able to attend, Ticketmaster gave me ONE option only and that was to resell my tickets. I posted the tickets asap for the same amount I purchased them because I don't think its right that some jack up the price when there are actual fans out there that just want to have a good time. I was hoping that I could give someone else the opportunity experience the show and all of the amazing VIP benefits on my behalf as well. Ticketmaster however, only let me lower tickets face value and in the end my tickets never sold. I took a $730 loss and I got to tell you, its extremely upsetting. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

by Monica on 11/3/22Kia Forum - Inglewood

The show was electric. Noticed a mixture of older and newer Panic! fans which is shows the love for the band. The band has so much energy and Brendon is just fun to watch. The crowd really loves Panic! I liked hearing the complete Viva Las Vengeance album in its entirety along with the favorites. All in all had a great time and a lot of fun!

Brendon’s vocals are somehow even better live. He was a ball of sunshine onstage and such a joy to watch.

    House of memories

by Amy on 11/2/22United Center - Chicago

We really enjoyed the show! Panic and the opening acts were awesome. We were disappointed in the VIP package though. The package included snacks which consisted of a bunch of sweets, a veggie tray, and some chips. We've been to previous concerts with VIP package that had snacks and they offered hot dogs, chips, hamburgers, something a little more substantial. The merchandise that came with the package wasn't the greatest either in our opinion for the price. We loved the photo booth and the VIP employees were extremely friendly. Overall, it was a great show just disappointed with some of the VIP perks.

I had concerns with this being the last show on the tour, that everyone would be tired, but I was wrong, it was nothing less than spectacular! Exceeded my expectations and next time panic comes to Chicago, I’m buying better seats!

    SO MUCH ENERGY

by Kittles on 11/2/22United Center - Chicago

Panic at the Disco is by far one of the best performers that I've had the privilege of seeing live. The entire band is energetic and makes the effort to connect with their fans. This show and their Pray for the Wicked show back in 2019 were the most connected to a show that I've ever felt. I was experiencing the show, not just watching it.
