It is a beautiful place to spend an evening !!The symphony was magnificent as usual!!
This orchestra was so talented and moving!! Gave me the chills and intensified the feelings in this movie. Really appreciated this!!
It was amazing!! Please do something like this again next summer! John Williams’ scores are fantastic!!!
Hi-My sister and I enjoyed the show but we were disappointed in the amount of Chicago music we heard. I would have liked the concert to have been mostly Chicago with a little bit of pomp and circumstance at the end with the fireworks
The evening was a breathtaking. The Pacific Symphony was flawless. Brass Transit sounds were so much like Chicago, I closed my eyes and relived the best of Chicago. It brought me back. The fireworks display with the symphony background was like no other fireworks display. Fantastic :)
This was our 2nd time going to the amphitheatre and we thoroughly enjoyed the concert. The sound was great and the fireworks afterwards were the perfect way to cap off the evening!
poor sound and performance!!!! I was expecting more.
Great violinist and pianist along with the 1812 Overture.
Great Concert, both Sheena Easton and Scott Coulter were amazing. I still sing Separate Lives each day. I thought the song selection was excellent! The only exception would have been to hear Scott sing "Thunderball" and/or "From Russia With Love". Also, Shirley Bassey sang the song Moonraker, which I really like, it would have been nice to hear Sheena sing that. But, overall, fun concert, would like to see again..
This was a great time had by my entire family. I am sad to say it will be the last 4th of July because they are closing the Irvine Meadows to build more homes. The fire works were great and the Michael Jackson tribute got everyone moving. The symphony is superb. We all really enjoyed the patriotic music. GO USA!
only complaint is the distance it takes from the gate to the seats at the venue.
Getting there was exciting the event started late and once it began the music was pleasant . After 2 hours and an intermission it dragged out way to long . I missed the firework show that was after 11 pm , when the event was to start at 8 pm . For a celebration I was there to enjoy the evening and why we all where attending . This will be an area I plan to avoid in the future . It took people over 1 hour to just get out of the parking lot. Happy freedom day .
Such a wonderful night outside listening to the beautiful music of the Pacific Symphony! As the symphony played the different songs from each branch of the military and the veterans stood up, I got goose bumps! The Michael Jackson piece was amazing as well! And then to top it off, the amazing fireworks with the patriotic music was awesome!
I have very much enjoyed with Kenny P performance , music and capturing audiences attention with his heart warm music sure my hat tip off for the pacific symphony orchestra
This was a great show! Kenny was amazing! Surpassed all my expectations
I loved having the orchestra in perfect sync with scenes from the movie Fantasia being displayed on the screen. The director was really good and the show didn't even need a host since the director did that work too. It was entertaining and very well sinchronized.
We loved the show and had a great evening. Will be back
Could not think of a better way to spend the 4th of July than with the Pacific Symphony and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The symphony was amazing and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy were spectacular. Patrotism flowed and the performers were world class.
Overall experience was really good. We got to see lots of other areas' fireworks in the night sky from way up on the lawn. I would have like to have seen some vendors/concessions open - but I guess I know what to expect next time. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was good as always. And - a special guest was the great great grandson of Francis Scott Key - on the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner.
Lawn seats. Picnic with the family. Great music. Patriotic, to go with the holiday. And, we could see fireworks shows throughout South Orange County. Just a fun, celebratory night.
