It was a lovely evening! The music was exquisite, the dancers were beautiful, and the set was delightful.

    Magical experience!

    by TiaH68 on 12/15/10McCaw Hall - Seattle

My mother bought tickets for my daughter and I to attend the show; we had the most incredible seats (three rows from the orchestra) and the entire show was magical! My daughter was on the edge of her seat during the entire play. The orchestra was amazing, too. It was a wonderful Christmas-time experience that I was able to share with my daughter. My only advice is to read (or re-read) the story beforehand so everyone knows what is going on.

The Nutcracker was an amazing production.

by Anonymous on 12/6/10McCaw Hall - Seattle

I've heard poor reviews from friends who saw the show a few years ago saying that the dancers were noticeably out of synch and that some of them fell during the performance. It was certainly not the case during Saturday's (12/4/10) matinee show. The dancers performed well and of course, you can't beat the stage setting. I look forward to taking my family again next year! It makes for a wonderful holiday tradition.

Romeo and juliette could have been better

by Anonymous on 10/4/09McCaw Hall - Seattle

The dancing and the music was amazing! However, the set was disappointing. Romeo and Juliette is a tragic love story and the set did nothing to enhance the romance of this magnificent piece. Sorry, but 4 white walls says I'm in a box, not I'm in love. Better luck with the set next time.
