Ottawa Senators History
The original Ottawa Senators were founded in 1883 and were one of the founding teams of the NHL during its early years, winning 11 Stanley Cup Championships between 1903 and 1927. When the NHL started to expand to the U.S., the Senators were sold to St. Louis and became the Eagles, but the team shuttered after one year. Great game and facility. The menus need updating, and the service was better than most. One star deduction for needing to wear masks even though vaccinated.
This was a fun arena to be at and super affordable for travellers. The price I paid for the seats here, would have been 10 times that at different arenas. We had glass seats and the in seat service crew was top notch. It was great to hear classic rock during puck stoppage. Good food choices at the arena because there is literally nothing around it. I hope they build around the area to it more tourists friendly.
Had a good time wasnt to packed and most things were opened back up.
Went to the game with the whole family (7). Great access to elevators which was great for my grandparents. Atmosphere was great.
Tickets were easy to access and save no problems at all can’t wait to use ticket master again
Was so awesome to see my team come back and win 3-2 Go Rangers!!!!!!
Delay getting in the building when everyone is vaccinated makes no sense. I'm surprised ticketmaster doesn't have a vaccine check few yet.
Excellent venue, good game & top entertainment, Go Sens Go !!
Went to the game with my girlfriend. Drove 4 hours both ways. Seats were great, however the Leafs played abysmal. Parking was easy to access, but very challenging to exit at the end of the evening.
Just an amazing experience very rowdy crowd and was great to have fans back in the building
Half of the available concession stands were closed which resulted in huge lines. We ended up waiting over a half an hour to get a beer. The staff were doing their best, but they needed more to staff and concession stands to serve the crowd.
The lines for the concessions stands were too long. Spent 45 mins in line
Not all venders open long lines app was not working properly very confusing
It was a great place to watch a game , easy access and no long lines and the atmosphere in the building was fantastic!!
Great game; decent venue.... however, Canadian Tire Centre could do a better job with identifying sections. Also for out of towners (likely a large % in attendance at Saturday's game) - having access to transportation and signage for such (be it bus, taxi, Uber, Lyft) would be of great benefit as few attendants were able to direct us to such. Happy to see Leafs come out on top of Sens (nice to be able to secure tickets that aren't as pricey as in Toronto)
We've been to several Senators games each year and it's a welcoming, fun time. Seats are great and it is enjoyable for family and adults. Parking is easy and traffic flow in/out of the game is very easy.
Die hard fan of the SENS. Loved the game. I’m all for tank Nation ! The ambiance at the CTC place was abysmal . Ottawa fans are not very demonstrative. They sit on their hands and don’t do any loud cheering. Too bad ! Time for a fan base rebuild !
Getting in the parking went well, getting out took forever... Otherwise, good event at a decent venue. Overpriced beer, though.
I love going to games in Ottawa rather than Montreal because the difference is ticket prices is pretty drastic.. however the beer prices are beyond stupid. $50 for 4 beers, how is that justifiable?? Other than that it was a great atmosphere, but boring game.. tennis on tv is more exciting
Liked the game but simply refuse to pay 40 to 50 dollars for a beer and low q pizza. Seems to be a big disconnect between the fans and the team.
