    Riveting

by Cellodon on 10/23/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

OSLO was absolutely riveting. Every actor in the large cast was first rate. The music, lighting, stage changes and suspenseful dialogue were all superb in this five-star Time Line Theater production. And for those of us old enough to have lived through the actual historical events, it still packed a punch. This is live theater at its finest.

Great production, less than great theater

by L. on 10/22/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Found “Oslo” riveting—a great play. Acting, staging, sets very well done. Was turned off by people’s being seated after play began and very slow exiting.

    Last row woes

by Jerry on 10/22/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

We were seated in row R of the theatre The last row of seating Due to an overhang in that section of the theatre. It was difficult to hear parts of the play. During the overlong. an hour and 45 minutes, my partner was having problems hearing the actors. At intermission she decided to sit in the lobby for the 2nd act . She was really upset about the inability to hear. Two people seated to our right in Row R also didn’t return. I returned to watch the 2nd act my enjoyment diminished.

    Great theatre

by m. t. on 10/22/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Actors were superb as was the script. I liked the smaller venue . I felt apart of the play. The staging was minimalist but perfectly suited the nature of the play where dialogue was much more important. Timeline theatre does consistently excellent work and this is one of their best efforts.

    Amazing performance and piece!

by Melanie on 10/21/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I would recommend "Oslo" to everyone; it is great for both informed and uninformed audience members giving insight into the history and complexity of the Palestine-Israel conflict. The acting is unbelievably great and the length of the work conveys the intense struggle between the two parties involved in this fight in a very moving and devastatingly sad way. Truly a piece that will both inform you on historic details while also capturing your emotions!

    Outstanding show!

by Giff on 10/21/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Playhouse facilities could use an upgrade in restroom and concessions capacity. With a full house, it was pretty limited

The play itself is very good. Acoustics very poor.

by Steve on 10/15/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

The acoustics were poor making it difficult to hear some of the dialogue. Furthermore, the obsession with having the actors use accents of their respective countries was very counter-productive as it may the dialogue even more difficult to understand.

    Bravo!

by L. on 10/15/19Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

This production of Oslo was fabulous. The combination of a small, intimate theater, talented actors and a gripping story made for a wonderful experience.
