OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW

RETURN TO AUSTRALIA IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER

PERFORMING “BLONDE ON BLONDE”

WITH SPECIAL GUEST VALERIE JUNE

Acclaimed Statesiders OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW will return to Australia for the first time in eight years to play a string of East Coast dates this September and October, in addition to their already-announced performance at the Caloundra Music Festival. On their Australian shows, Old Crow Medicine Show will pay tribute to their music icon, Bob Dylan, by playing his seminal 1966 album, Blonde On Blonde, in full.

Hailing from the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Memphian and fellow Tennessean VALERIE JUNE, who has shared the stage with the likes of Sharon Jones, Sturgill Simpson, Jake Bugg and more, will join Old Crow Medicine Show on their Australian run, rounding out an authentic ‘Taste of Americana’ double-bill for local audiences.

Old Crow Medicine Show and the beguiling Valerie June promise to deliver a night of authentic Tennessee tunes when they touch down in Australia later this year, traversing country, blues, roots and more, with a little bit of soul and gospel thrown in for good measure.

This was my fourth time seeing the awesome Old Crow Medicine Show and I must say it was the best one yet. You could not keep your feet from dancing and singing out your favorite songs. The atomosphere was great and they were wonderful like always. I totally recommend this band to everyone. Even if you are not really into this genre of music, you will still 100% love it!

Great show. The energy and enthusium OCMS brought to the stage filled the entire sold out venue. The only time many people ever sat was during the brief intermission.

Pretty good show, but sound system was not good - hard to hear voices and some instruments (banjos). OCMS does put on a high energy show. Worth seeing again.

The band was greeted by a standing ovation and stayed that way for most of the show.I was impressed how the band members were multi instrumental going from guitar to banjo, drums to keyboards. At the end of the 2nd encore the group finished with the Beatles song Get Back....I am glad I made the trip to West by God Virginia to see this group and be with all the great fans!

  • Old Crow Medicine Show a must see.

by CincinnatiCJ on 11/15/09Lyell B Clay Concert Theatre - MorgantownRating: 5 out of 5

Last night was my first concert to see these guys perform and it was worth every dollar. I had heard of the energy they bring to the stage and there performance but it is something that has to be seen by everyone. This was the best concert I have ever been too. Going into it they are my favorite band so I was skeptical about a possible let down but they were above and beyond anything I expected. They also played a great set list. All of there biggest hits and a few that they did for fun. I will definitely see these guys again when they are close enough to me.

  • That was a GREAT SHOW

  • Old Crow Medicine Show was Awesome!!!

    by jmtaylor80 on 11/14/09Salem Civic Center - SalemRating: 5 out of 5

Of course, the performance was exceptionable. The whole atmosphere of an Old Crow Show is just so awesome. The music is great, the set list is perfect, the fans are fabulous, and the interaction of crowd/band is great. Dancing on the floor, in the seats, and despite the Civic Center wasnt sold out, the roar of the crowd was that of any sold out performance that I have seen. Every show is an overall party for all the fans.
