OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW

RETURN TO AUSTRALIA IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER

PERFORMING “BLONDE ON BLONDE”

WITH SPECIAL GUEST VALERIE JUNE

Acclaimed Statesiders OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW will return to Australia for the first time in eight years to play a string of East Coast dates this September and October, in addition to their already-announced performance at the Caloundra Music Festival. On their Australian shows, Old Crow Medicine Show will pay tribute to their music icon, Bob Dylan, by playing his seminal 1966 album, Blonde On Blonde, in full.

Hailing from the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Memphian and fellow Tennessean VALERIE JUNE, who has shared the stage with the likes of Sharon Jones, Sturgill Simpson, Jake Bugg and more, will join Old Crow Medicine Show on their Australian run, rounding out an authentic ‘Taste of Americana’ double-bill for local audiences.

Old Crow Medicine Show and the beguiling Valerie June promise to deliver a night of authentic Tennessee tunes when they touch down in Australia later this year, traversing country, blues, roots and more, with a little bit of soul and gospel thrown in for good measure.

  • Old Crow Med Show

by TL on 10/27/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 2 out of 5

Columbia Performing Arts in Evans, GA is a beautiful and well run center. However, either due to acoustics or the sound engineers, the mix was muddled and loud. We left early

  • I bought tickets for my husband, at least I thought.

by Gyalia on 10/27/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 5 out of 5

So my husband loves this group, why........ I could not understand. So when I saw they were coming to my town, I decided to surprise him and "go for his benefit as something nice for him", at least that was my thought. Much to my surprise, it was a FANTASTIC SHOW!! The musicality and talent that I saw on that stage was nothing short of amazing! Not only did they play instruments incredibly well, they sang on pitch with harmony all wall playing a harmonicas, accordions, guitars, fiddles and dancing all around on stage! Amazing! To say that I am now a huge fan is an understatement. Thank you Old Crow for making me a believer! You are more than "Hillbilly"music. You are a talented bunch of guys!! Great job.

  • 100 percent Pure Fun!

by Jen on 9/19/24Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneRating: 5 out of 5

What a show! Old Crow Medicine Show put on one of the best concerts I have ever experienced! From the opening song to the end of the encore, the show was high energy, exciting and just plain fun. The audience was dancing in the aisles, singing along and just having one heck of a time. My 12-year-old son was entertained and engaged the entire show (which if you know pre-teens, that is a feat in itself!) as were both my husband and I. I can't stress enough, IF YOU GET THE CHANCE TO SEE OLD CROW LIVE, DO NOT HESITATE!! Worth every cent of the ticket price and then some! Bravo, Old Crow Medicine Show, you helped my family create a core memory that none of us will ever forget!

Old Crow Medicine Show is like Bluegrass on Steroids! These guys show so much energy in their performance! This was my second concert with them and they do not disappoint. They DON'T just stand there performing their hit songs!

  • Great show!!

I was not familiar with Old Crow Medicine Show before I attended their show Sept. 14 in Fort Wayne. Wow!! They are one of my favorite bands now. They had tons of energy and engaged with the audience from start to finish. One of the best shows ever!!!

  • My Favorite Band

by Rosebud on 9/17/24The Corbin Arena - CorbinRating: 5 out of 5

Old Crow Medicine Show never disappoints! Their shows are always filled with energy and great music. I’m always envious of anyone who can play multiple musical instruments! I look forward to seeing them perform many more times!

  • Old Crow Hootenany!

by Shenofsquatch on 9/17/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 5 out of 5

Man, I tell you every time I see these guys. It’s a great time. Energy the electricity is just fantastic. Although the show was absolutely great. The only downside of it is Old Crow medicine show is definitely an outdoor band. They are a get up move around shake what you got kind of vibe! being that I am a 6 foot four gentleman it’s hard for me to feel good about standing in a seeded Arena and blocking peoples view so therefore I kind of miss out🤷🏻‍♂️. That being said never missed a chance to see these guys if there anywhere near your town!! Thanks Ketch and The rest of the Crows!!

  • One of the best show bands in America

by Terry on 9/16/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 5 out of 5

It was fun to welcome Old Crow Medicine Show back to Ann Arbor again. They play with great talent and amazing energy, with an ever evolving set list. "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"was well outside of their normal style, and was one of the top highlights of the night. The standing ovation was well deserved.

  • Spirited and Fun

by Lindsay on 9/16/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 5 out of 5

Old Crow is a high spirited and energetic group! Lots of good rousing songs with slower ones sprinkled in. They had our Michigan audience in the palm of their hands when they sang The Edmund Fitzgerald. We clapped for more and they gave it to us. All ages were having fun!

  • Great music but much too loud

by Broken Ears on 9/16/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 3 out of 5

Old Crow Medicine Show did a great concert here in Ann Arbor in support of the Breakfast at St. Andrew's community food program which has fed breakfast to those in need 365 days a year for 40 years now. The musicians were great, their support for the fund-raising purpose of the concert was great, the energy and the community building was great. Special thanks for the Edmund Fitzgerald ... so many joined in singing the refrain, across all ages in the audience. But, members of one of the key donor groups were seen leaving early. Not because of the concert contents but because the sound was much too loud for the great acoustics in the Michigan Theater. Some guests said that they'll support the Breakfast next year but NOT attend any concert that is that loud, citing the same problem with the wonderful RoseAnne Cash concert last year. Turn down the volume and keep all of the folks in their seats. Again - thanks to Old Crow Medicine Show for the great concert in support of the Breakfast at St. Andrew's.

  • Best Friday the 13th ever

by jay on 9/16/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 5 out of 5

The Old Crow Medicine Show at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor on the Friday the 13th was great. In addition to all of their fun upbeat bluegrassy rockabilly music, they put on hockey masks for an extra "scary"song. Their rendition of "The Edmund Fitzgerald"was the one serious moment, appropriately delivered, and then followed by their own "Wagon Wheel". It was the close of a fantastic performance well-received in Michigan. Awesome.

  • great musicians, but overdone staging

by Kate on 9/16/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 3 out of 5

These are really great musicians. However, the staging was really unpleasant. I hated the flashing lights. It really would have been better to just focus on good music and less on flashy showmanship.

  • A lot of entertainment

by Dobro on 9/16/24The Corbin Arena - CorbinRating: 5 out of 5

I was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire performance! With eye popping stage presence and music that made my socks roll up and down!

  • As much fun as you can have

by Lon on 9/16/24Michigan Theater - Ann ArborRating: 5 out of 5

OCMS never disappoints!! Talented, funny and always have a great set list.

  • Disappointed

by Mrwirefixit on 9/16/24The Corbin Arena - CorbinRating: 2 out of 5

We had no idea who was opening for Old Crow. Most of my concert experiences have the opening act be in similar taste to the main event. I wanted to walk out. Definitely was not expecting to hear a bunch of RAP (Ganstagrass) while listening to Bluegrass musicians. Then Old Crow came out and they performed as expected. So not sure who booked the opening act (the venue or Old Crow), but next time I pay closer attention to the opening act and maybe just show up for the main event.
