OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW

RETURN TO AUSTRALIA IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER

PERFORMING “BLONDE ON BLONDE”

WITH SPECIAL GUEST VALERIE JUNE

Acclaimed Statesiders OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW will return to Australia for the first time in eight years to play a string of East Coast dates this September and October, in addition to their already-announced performance at the Caloundra Music Festival. On their Australian shows, Old Crow Medicine Show will pay tribute to their music icon, Bob Dylan, by playing his seminal 1966 album, Blonde On Blonde, in full.

Hailing from the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Memphian and fellow Tennessean VALERIE JUNE, who has shared the stage with the likes of Sharon Jones, Sturgill Simpson, Jake Bugg and more, will join Old Crow Medicine Show on their Australian run, rounding out an authentic ‘Taste of Americana’ double-bill for local audiences.

Old Crow Medicine Show and the beguiling Valerie June promise to deliver a night of authentic Tennessee tunes when they touch down in Australia later this year, traversing country, blues, roots and more, with a little bit of soul and gospel thrown in for good measure.

  • This band is so good and plays music in overdrive

by bob on 3/18/25Genesee Theatre - WaukeganRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic. 5 plus stars If you have never seen this band, dont miss it. A bunch of very talented guys each playing multiple instruments with a roady who plays the accordion and twirls a baton like an expert.

  • Energized

Had a blast at theOld Crow Medicine Show concert! Outstanding show that got my heart pounding and energized myself. The music was amazing, show entertaining, and unique cover band. One terrific evening!

  • O.M.G. O.C.M.S.

by Cody on 3/18/25Genesee Theatre - WaukeganRating: 5 out of 5

The Energy level is absolutely astounding. From the first second they come on stage until the last, it was a non-stop thrill. I saw them a number of years ago and they have only gotten better with age! Wikipedia describes them as "an Americana band with a punk rock energy"which is a perfect description. Of course Ketch is the center of all this energy, as the co-founder and only original member of the band, but the other guys really give it their all as well. Just a fun, entertaining night. We brought another couple who weren't familiar with them and the left in awe and OCMS got a new pair of fans that night. Love you Guys!

  • Great show, great venue

by embee on 3/18/25Genesee Theatre - WaukeganRating: 5 out of 5

Old Crow Medicine Show is a high energy, goodtime band. They have a few of their own songs and some well chosen covers. They work hard to entertain and are all good musicians. The opening act was well chosen and a suitable intro to OCMS. Everyone had a great time.

  • Poor sound f

by John on 3/17/25Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The sound quality was subpar at best. Seeing a band of excellent instrumentalists and can’t hear any of them , is always disappointing. It improved slightly about 40 minutes in. Very dissatisfying experience for such a talented group .

  • Fun Evening

by BigPoppa on 3/17/25Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to a ton of concerts in my life, but this might have been one of the funnest shows I've seen. The band was absolutely amazing & the talent is unbelievable! My wife & I left with a hug smile on our faces & had a "feel good"spirit that we all need more of. If you've never seen OCMS, you must add them to your bucket list. You won't be disappointed!

  • This was a Great Show!

by TJames on 3/16/25Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The band came out firing on all cylinders and played one great song after another. OCMS has an impressive level of talent. Every member of the band can play multiple instruments and does throughout the show. They were amazing!

  • A Great Performance

by Swimdad on 3/16/25Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first time seeing OCMS other than at the Grand Ole Opry. The amount of energy these performers have is unbelievable. The crowd was a mix of people younger and older than my wife and I are. My only problem was that the instruments could have been toned down a little and the vocals boosted. If you didn't know some of the songs....well.... you just didn't know. I would highly recommend OCMS.

  • Old Crow Medicine Show

by TM on 11/28/24The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Great show at a fantastic venue! OCMS put on an energetic, fun 2-hour show with a great encore. They played a good mix from their catalog and brought in some other fun songs. Ketch and the band got the audience excited and involved. Many of the musicians displayed their talents by playing different instruments throughout the evening. Balcony seating provided excellent viewing and the sound was terrific.

  • OCMS is going strong.

by O. Noffke on 11/23/24The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

OCMS never disappoints. High energy, great music, and master showmanship.

  • View obstructed

by LouLou on 11/23/24The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Old Crow & Willie Watson were great! However our seats weren’t. We were in right balcony & my view was obstructed by a very large cowboy hat & a young kid who was being allowed to stand up against the railing. The usher ignored him as did his parents. I actually thought he might fall over the railing! Luckily the seats behind me were empty so we moved there.

  • Fantastic show

by Muscle on 11/23/24The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Venue was great. You can sit or stand and plenty of room to dance.

  • Old Crow did not disappoint!

by Old Crow on 11/23/24The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

I'd been listening to them for almost 20 yrs, since I first heard them playing in a car at a gas station in Johnson city TN. Listening to them I could imagine they'd be fun to see them live, but they were amazing! The stage presence, playfulness, personalizing the show with references to Missouri and St Louis, the little story lines leading up to the songs, and how everyone just kept switching instruments....what a show, amazing artists and performers.

  • Old Crow Medicine Show killed it.

by Bob Neaf on 11/23/24The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Great crowd. Great venue. Lots of singing and dancing. Those guys really put on a fantastic show.

  • Great High-Energy Show

by jimsprinkel on 11/12/24Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - Charles TownRating: 5 out of 5

These guys (Old Crow Medicine Show) are great musicians with nonstop energy from the start to the finish of their show. They relate to the audience by citing lots of local and state information. They are real showmen and well worth the price of admission. There was dancing in the aisles and constant cheering from the enthusiastic crowd in attendance. I'll sum it up by saying Wonderful Band and Wonderful Show.

  • Fell short of great

by KMB on 11/11/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 4 out of 5

We have seen OCMS 8 times, 5 at this venue. They opened the show with lackluster performances of OMCS standards. I thought this portion of the show lacked the genuine high energy of past shows and was filled with too many phony local references, canned band member "bits"and choreographed stage interactions. It's as if the band has played these songs too often. It reminded me of "Groundhog Day"when Phil starts to force things after reliving the same scenes over and over while pursuing Rita. But then... the show took a turn for the better at about the halfway point when Ketch introduced a new song about the recent hurricane disaster in NC. The rest of the show felt fresher and more spontaneous. The covers in the second half were the highlights for me and including Jamie Wyatt (opening act) in 3 or 4 songs was a definite boost. I left thinking "Pretty Good show"but fell well short of their best work in total. Maybe I've just seen this band too many times.

  • Fast moving fun show

by Bob on 11/11/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

Old Crow never disappoints- fast moving fun show - they seldom if ever slow down - perfect blend of blue grass, country rock - the band has entertainers and not just players!

  • Old Crow amazing; warmup act awful

by Brynn on 11/11/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 4 out of 5

Old Crow put on a wonderful, energetic, exciting show. Great musicianship and perfect sound design. The opening act had her screechy voice and amateurish guitar painfully over miked.

  • Sound system needs to be better

by Mel on 10/27/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was great, full of energy. The sound was horrible. The songs were muffled, when someone in the band spoke you couldn’t understand them for the muffled sound. Don’t think I’ll go to anymore concerts at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center.
