OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW
RETURN TO AUSTRALIA IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER
PERFORMING “BLONDE ON BLONDE”
WITH SPECIAL GUEST VALERIE JUNE
Acclaimed Statesiders OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW will return to Australia for the first time in eight years to play a string of East Coast dates this September and October, in addition to their already-announced performance at the Caloundra Music Festival. On their Australian shows, Old Crow Medicine Show will pay tribute to their music icon, Bob Dylan, by playing his seminal 1966 album, Blonde On Blonde, in full.
Hailing from the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Memphian and fellow Tennessean VALERIE JUNE, who has shared the stage with the likes of Sharon Jones, Sturgill Simpson, Jake Bugg and more, will join Old Crow Medicine Show on their Australian run, rounding out an authentic ‘Taste of Americana’ double-bill for local audiences.
Old Crow Medicine Show and the beguiling Valerie June promise to deliver a night of authentic Tennessee tunes when they touch down in Australia later this year, traversing country, blues, roots and more, with a little bit of soul and gospel thrown in for good measure.

Amazing performers and musicians. High energy, leave it all on the stage attitude..they create a party. We went to Charlottesville concert largely because of Shenandoah Valley of Va connection.. that purity and humility still shines through. They connect with and read an audience.. and can make adjustments on the fly. They are looking to break ground with new releases..I would prefer they do a few more traditional sing along numbers..as the leader noted, to to show they still got their ," hill billy chops" . We had a great time, stayed thru two curtain calls..they brought the warmup group back on stage to share the moment.
This band puts on one hell of a show! Almost every member of the band sings lead on a song and plays multiple instruments. Just a bunch of very talented musicians. One of the best shows I've seen in a very long time.
Opening act was Sierra Ferrell. A 2 girl performance. Phenomenal. Old Crow was fabulous. Great singers, great musicians and a lively performance. People were dancing in their seats by the end of the night. The Tennessee Theater is a beautiful venue. That band is a must see.
Best show I’ve been to in quite some time. If you ever have a chance to see them love, do it!
Probably one of the best shows ive been to. Old Crow is non stop excellent entertainment, theyare awesome. Tennessee theater is one of the most beautiful venues around, not a bad seat in the house. And prices were great!
We weren’t able to go to the concert because the dates changed. We purchased the ticket insurance, filed a claim and … nothing. Awesome way to spend $200. Thanks to Ticketmaster for all your help (which consisted of saying we aren’t doing anything for you, but you did purchase insurance so maybe someone else can help). I guess when you have a monopoly on the ticket business you can do whatever you want. Hope the show was great for those that could attend. And hope OCMS makes good use of the $200 donation we made.
This was our first time seeing OCMS in concert. The show was super high energy from beginning to the end. So glad they played music from their new album that’s coming out this spring. What an exciting night. It was also our first time at the Tennessee Theater. What a beautifully ornate venue. Truly a Knoxville treasure.
The band was absolutely AMAZING as always! High energy! Great music! My 7th time seeing them. The audience …. “The old cronies Medicare show” …. Thank you to the band for doing such a great show despite the lack of audience feed back. I just don’t understand how anybody can see OCMS live and just sit in the seat and politely clap between songs. They are amazing and I enjoyed the new band members’ energy. I just hope OCMS doesn’t avoid Knoxville as a future venue due to lack of audience enthusiasm. If they do, I’ll just follow OCMS to the better venues.
Awesome show! Group was entertaining as always even with the leaving of the lead singer.
Spent $360 on 4 tickets and could not go due to Covid. The 2 shows the day before and of the event were canceled, but not the main show. Could not sell the tickets. Think we are Don with buying tickets though a site, easier to show up the day of and buy them off someone.
We really enjoyed Old Crow Medicine Show. They are very entertaining and so talented. Their talent is incredible playing multiple instruments and interactive with the audience.
Part of the experience is actually watching the band members perform -- which is impossible when everyone in front of you is standing - even if I had stood up, the man two rows closer to the stage was probably at least 6'6" tall and I still couldn't have seen the stage! Then there was the man in the next row that was vaping (obvious even though he was trying to hide it). I'd bought the tickets as Keb Mo' was scheduled, but his group couldn't perform bc of covid. The substitute act was okay but not really that great. Don't know if I'll go again in person but would watch it on live-stream.
The OCMS New Year’s Eve show was great fun. It’s our first time and it was a thrill to be part of this new Nashville tradition. The guys put on a great show, as always, but the combination of New Year’s Eve, being in the Mother Church, and the audience made it all the more fun. We were pleasantly surprised at the wide diverse range of ages of people in the audience, and the number of families. And, while we missed seeing Keb Mo, Sierra Ferrell and her band were a nice surprise too. They rose to the occasion and we will be following them too from now on. We look forward to being at the event this news New Year’s Eve, and many more to follow. Lastly, they Ryman staff was great, as they always are.
Enjoyed the show very much. Disappointed Keb Mo did not join Old Crow Medicine Show as advertised.
We literally bought tickets to see Keb Mo but as it turned out, the virus kept him away, and that’s ok..I respect that. I say that to say that we were totally blown away by his replacement, Sierra Ferrell, and the spectacular show by OCMS. Definitely worth the trip. We had a great time!
We bought six tickets, knowing we could find family eager to see Ketch and Old Crow - again! We wound up buying two more tickets! It was our first time to see them at the Ryman, but it was our third or fourth Old Crow show and we look forward to the next time!
What a great show OCMS put on! We’ve seen them 6 times and counting!
Actually purchased these tickets beachside Keb Mo was on the bill…. Covid sidelined his team on day of show ;-). The show went on nicely without him though and we were not disappointed. Sierra Hull warmed us up - her band and style were gr8, really enjoyable new-grass burlesque thing going on there. It was our 1st OCMS event. I can see why they’re so popular at the Ryman. Thoroughly positive and enjoyable show! Their own music is super, the covers included the stones and beasties! Lots of fun! Go see them!
The mother church on New Years is spectacular, Old Crow never disappoints with a fantastic show! Opening act Sierra Ferrell did a great job. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.
