OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW

RETURN TO AUSTRALIA IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER

PERFORMING “BLONDE ON BLONDE”

WITH SPECIAL GUEST VALERIE JUNE

Acclaimed Statesiders OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW will return to Australia for the first time in eight years to play a string of East Coast dates this September and October, in addition to their already-announced performance at the Caloundra Music Festival. On their Australian shows, Old Crow Medicine Show will pay tribute to their music icon, Bob Dylan, by playing his seminal 1966 album, Blonde On Blonde, in full.

Hailing from the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Memphian and fellow Tennessean VALERIE JUNE, who has shared the stage with the likes of Sharon Jones, Sturgill Simpson, Jake Bugg and more, will join Old Crow Medicine Show on their Australian run, rounding out an authentic ‘Taste of Americana’ double-bill for local audiences.

Old Crow Medicine Show and the beguiling Valerie June promise to deliver a night of authentic Tennessee tunes when they touch down in Australia later this year, traversing country, blues, roots and more, with a little bit of soul and gospel thrown in for good measure.

  • Old Crow Medicine Show owned the Ryman!

    by Dane22 on 1/2/22Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Wow! What a show! Old Crow Medicine Show delivered a high-energy, fun, exciting, surprising and crowd-engaging show that had a full house at the Ryman on their feet clapping, dancing and just having a jolly, good time with Nashville's favorite live band! Tons of jabs and sarcastic, thinly veiled political comments about the powers that be only made the evening even more perfect :-)

  • Foot tapping entertainment with many laughs.

Night before New Year’s concert took the edge off a stressful 2021. Outstanding musicians with high energy performance.

  • Amazing Show!!

by Kim on 1/2/22Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the tickets for my husband's 70th birthday and we met our two children and their spouses in Nashville to celebrate. Our kids had seen Old Crow several times over the years and had bought my husband their albums to add to his vinyl collection, so he was very excited to see them. We were not disappointed...the show was amazing and the venue is beyond amazing!! Thank you Old Crow Medicine Show for making an evening that two generations of a music loving family will never forget!!

  • Not disappointed

by Teachereba on 1/2/22Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

After a disappointing bowl game experience the concert was a refreshing diversion. This is our 4th time in a row to see Old Crow Medicine Show in Nashville at the end of the year. This year did not disappoint. The guys were upbeat and energetic. Love their music.

One of the best shows I have been to, 66 years old and the concert did not slow down. I thought the Dropkick Murphy's were Rowdy, these guys know how to do a show. Thank You!!

These guys were full of energy right from the beginning. The music was great and they made me feel like they were happier to be there than I was.

  • Awesome

by Pat on 12/19/21Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time at the Uptown Theater so I was a little worried about the parking situation. We got there about an hour and 20 minutes early and the parking was directly across the street from the theater. Lol so we were the second people in line they wouldn't let you in until an hour before the show. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean, they had a bar and even a TV so we could watch some of the Chiefs game. I was expecting a good concert but when Old Crow Medicine Show stepped out on stage it really blew me away!!! Their showmanship, stage presence and interaction with each other and the audience was incredible. The entire band had awesome vocals, and lots of positive energy. Most of them played at least 3 different instruments. I could have paid 3 xs more for my ticket than what I did and I still would have been happy!!!!

  • Awesome night!

by Mary S. on 12/19/21Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the venue, Uptown theater. My first time there was great! It was big, spacious, and well laid out. We had no problems with lines from the front door, bar, merchandise table, or finding our seats. Old Crow Medicine Show was awesome and full of energy!

  • Great show but too loud

by Gonzo on 12/8/21Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 4 out of 5

OCMS brings high energy, a high level of musicianship and terrific showmanship. Overall loved the show and always like the Carolina Theater - all good seats, excellent sightlines to stage. Only drawback was sound was too loud with the instruments often overshadowing the vocals, which often made it hard to follow the lyrics of the songs. And the lyrics are important. By contrast, the group switched to an all acoustic set up for about three songs midway through the show. Made it very easy to hear both the intricate instrumental work and the vocals/lyrics. I realize the fully amplified arrangements of most of the show is part of creating the energy, but a more careful balancing of the sound between instruments and vocals would have enhanced the experience.

  • Right on

  • Great venue, amazing show!

Second row balcony. Small, great acoustics theater. Band was on fire. 3 special guests including Molly Tuttle. Super high energy. Must see.

  • Too much politics and personal opinion by the leader singer.

by Durhamite on 12/6/21Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 3 out of 5

Just sing and perform. So tired of people using concerts and plays as their personla platform.

  • OCMS

by Demonstimpy on 12/6/21Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 4 out of 5

Band were great. Problem with people standing and blocking the view of many other paying guests.

  • Best Ever

    by G. S. on 12/5/21Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best concert we have ever attended. Old Crow gave the audience more than two hours of energetic, enthusiastic, and accomplished performance.

  • Awesome Evening

We had first row balcony seats, but rarely sat down for Old Man Medicine Show! They brought the house down last Thursday night. They’re music and energy had everyone smiling behind their masks. Great to have live performances back in the Carolina Theater!

Wonderful show full of energy. Venue was clean with personable employees. I do wish however that they could keep the “squatters” from moving up when they see empty seats closer to the front. When leaving employees don’t have to be so over bearing, not everyone drinks excessively & needs to be told common sense things like looking both ways before crossing the lot. All in all had a great time and planning another soon.
