  • Raunchy is being too kind

by Benforms on 10/16/15Shoreline Amphitheatre - Mountain ViewRating: 3 out of 5

Full itinerary was not disclosed until you arrived, nor could you go to your seats until the show was close to starting. Very long lines for food and drink and not that great considering how pricey both were. I would have brought my own food to eat if I knew better. Comedy was good but cheap as the humor relied on talking about sex and women for the most part. The italian comedian probably was the best on the main stage. Amy Schumer wasn't as good as she is on talk shows or in her movies. Oh well. Live and learn.

Awesome event.... Pretty good crowd. I avoid concerts and events because of the crowds. This one is unlike any other crowd i've experienced which made it more enjoyable than anticipated.

FUNNY AS HELL!!! Great night of laughs for most. Great venue too. I hope it's stays as such.

  • Oddball Comedy Fest rocked ODDballs!

by Duenastime on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 5 out of 5

Those on the Festival Stage before the show were a good warm up. I really enjoyed Ester Steinberg! The main stage was (obviously) better. I had no idea T.J Miller was a comedian, too! That was a good surprise. But I have to say, it's all about Bridget Everett!!! She blew my mind! Youtube her ass and get ready to die laughing. She is my new favorite. I've always been an Aziz Ansari fan and this was my first time seeing him live, but Amy Schumer blew him out the water!!!!!!! She is amazingly funny!! She's my new favorite! Verizon was super strict about having your phones out, so no video or photos to share…boo!

  • Not something I would do again

by xSharonX on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 3 out of 5

Irvine Meadows is not an easy place to get in and out of both parking and at the venue. The opening comedy acts were hilarious - started at 5:15 pm and Aziz didn;t go on until 11 pm. That's a LONG night of laughing. Amy Schumer was kind of disappointing she did her Katie Couric joke and Jennifer Lawrence joke which I have heard a few times but she was a trooper for making it after hosting Saturday Night Live. By the time Aziz came on we were exhausted and left about 15 minutes into it. It still took a long time to get out of there. Not my favorite venue I think I would prefer a smaller Improv type theater better.

  • A Stellar Show!

by Mellowroo on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 5 out of 5

I haven't laughed so much in a long time! I go to comedy clubs all the time maybe 1x per week. The talent and level of funny is so much better here that you can see why and justify why you come to htis show and pay the ticket price!

  • Great job everybody, except Amy!

by NinaBoBinaPartyQueena on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 4 out of 5

Paid $100 to see my favorite comedian, Amy Schumer and liked everybody's set except hers. Everyone brought their A-game. Aziz, thank you for talking about things that matter and still making it funny! Amy, thanks for not preparing and kicking out a heckler - that was the most exciting part of your set.

  • Lots of people, great atmosphere.

by JimWC on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 4 out of 5

Lots of people and everything was obviously super expensive but worth it! Drinks were great, food took a long time due to long lines but event itself was hilarious. All acts were different, some much better than others.

  • funny funny show

by AlottaFagina on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Amy Schumer was hilarious! Aziz killed it. I just wish Jeff Ross was at this one too.

  • Even the great Aziz couldn't save this

by arby47 on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 1 out of 5

The whole experience was awful to put it nicely. Firstly the ticket stated a start time of 5pm, but when we arrived at 445pm there were 1000 people lined up in the parking lost waiting to go in. It was only then we were told that the show starts around 7pm. It was fun to wait in the scorching heat with other confused people...The show finally started and Big Jay Oakerson came on. He started talking about pink .... skin and well it didn't get any better. The show was OK, but turned awful when Bridget Everett came out and started harassing the entire audience. She physically touched the audience and flashed the whole venue her breast not to mention sat on some guys face...this is comedy? I was squirming not laughing. T.J. Miller and Sebastian Maniscalco actually provided solid laughs without resorting to gross humor. Then came Amy, who said she was so drunk the night before bc of SNL the people who put on the show offered to let her sit this one out, which I wish she had. She's big time now people and acts like it. She even got a girl kicked out who was just laughing. Power trip? I think so. Not only was the fact she did it disconcerting but the way she did. By saying .... honey, you're cute but I don't want to .... you. Who cares if you do or don't. Get on with the show Amy. That torture ended and Aziz came out with some solid laughs but I was so disenchanted with the whole night that I left before he was done so I could beat the crows back to the car.

  • Irvine Amphiteatre

by laddyduchess on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 1 out of 5

Will no longer go see any show there. I was really disappointed I couldn't take pictures of the comedians. I wasn't going to record but I deserve to be able to take a picture and definitely able to answer my texts. It was ridicoulos that you couldn't even have your phone out to answer texts or surface the Web.

  • good to laugh all evening!

by epealstrom on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 4 out of 5

we went there mainly to see amy schumer and she didn't disappoint! except for some hecular up front that was escorted out. lol you could tell she was beat from being up late the nigh before doing snl but she still put on a great show! we stuck around for a little bit to watch aziz but he wasn't to funny so we like most of the crowd left.

  • Aziz killed

by Rlg45 on 10/14/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - IrvineRating: 5 out of 5

Aziz Ansari is a polished pro. He exactly premises for his sets and was nailing it. I would also give A's to John Mulaney, Anthony Jesilkneck, and TJ Miller. Another comic who I never heard of, Sebastian something (Italian guy), was very unique and funny. Amy was funny, but didn't blow me away. She really just talked about her current career and didn't give us solid material like I have seen her do before. Overall. Great show.

  • Not as good as last year

by BLR0408 on 10/13/15Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 2 out of 5

Last year's event was SO funny and this year was very disappointing. Amy Schumer had to cancel which we didn't realize until we got there. The entertainment was still subpar. Some of the talent was funny but nothing to get too excited about. Bridget Everett is disgusting. Also the venue was very strict about no phone use...even if you weren't recording or taking pictures. So, not that funny & audience was heckled by cell phone police.

  • Oddball comedy was amazing

Loved the venue loved the comedians! Perfect night of entertainment.

  • DISAPPOINTED

by GLORIAGAIL99 on 10/13/15Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 2 out of 5

Big well known names were advertised, but did not show up. No Amy, no Sarah--we had a long drive and lots of traffic--you won';t sell me on this one again--not worth it.

  • Show was hysterical, but there was a downside.

by Misshairstylist on 10/12/15Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 3 out of 5

Show was hysterical and actually better than I ever expected it to be. We originally bought tickets to see Amy Schumer and she was canceled without any prior warning or email. When we got to the gates I thought somebody was playing a joke on us and telling us that she was canceled. They did upgrade everyone seeds for free, offer refunds, and tried to redeem themselves as much as they could. She was on Saturday Night live and it was out of their hands. They should have sent out emails ahead of time before we drove 2 1/2 hours to the venue letting us know that she would not be there. Other than that, food, drinks, frozen red Apple beer was delicious. Thank you for a great show to everyone who performed.

  • So funny! laughed so hard!

by Lsoeten on 10/12/15Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 5 out of 5

Great comedians all around! I laughed so hard! we missed Amy but what can you do when she has a good excuse. The doors opened at 515pm, we arrived about 6pm, they wouldn't let us into the seats until 6:30pm. Made it difficult to eat since there are little to no seats in the food area. We would have waited had we known we wouldn't be able to get to our seats. I think they could have put that info in the traffic warning email the day before. Militant ushers regarding no cell phones even though the screens kept saying download the app or show us you pictures on instagram.

  • got refund

Went to see Amy Schumer. She was'nt there, so decided to get a refund

  • No Amy Schumer

by FourRacks on 10/12/15Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 3 out of 5

Headliner cancelled. Event was still fun. Lines for food and drinks were way to long. Additionally, it took me close to an hour to get out of the parking lot after the show. Also, security asked us for our tickets way too many times and it was annoying and it disrupted my enjoyment of the show.
