Great songs, small venue but awesome crowd. Close to home and lots of good restaurants
The band was amazing and played all our favorite songs. However at the beginning of the concert the bass and bass drum were so overwhelming we could not really hear the singing clearly. It seemed they were over compensating for the acoustics of the venue.
Beautiful location and beautiful building. Fast drink service and clean.
OAR rocked it and performed an amazing and energetic show. Venue is big enough yet intimate. Service was great. Some sound issues halfway through (Friday night show) but these were quickly resolved. Thorough yet efficient security which is always a bonus.
Ricker and The Beachcombers opened and played very good music. O.A.R played a full 2 hrs. They were simply amazing! Will see them every chance I get.
O.A.R. was absolutely amazing. They sounded great. They sang pretty much everything which was awesome! The venue was fun because you can get up close to the band which is always a plus. I would definitely see them again.
Great band, great concert, love their music... Venue was ideal - good visibility to the stage and good acoustics...
OAR did not disappoint. This was the first time that I have seen this band live...and hopefully, not the last. Great show, great energy, fantastic talent. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Bands were amazing. Merriweather Post needs a bit more organization in their gates and merch stand. They should have more then one and have a line formed. Also the camera that hangs over the left side of the stage is super annoying and blocks what would otherwise be a great view. Screens are nice.
I had seen American Authors and O.A.R. before so I knew I was in for a great show. I wasn’t familiar with Andrew McMahon but he sure grabbed my attention! The venue was a pleasure to go to - all the employees we came across were exceptionally nice.
Nice venue, good sound, stage is huge. Not sure I'd use Lot 2 because it is a parking deck that requires concert people to use upper levels. Find a dirt lot instead.
These guys put on an amazing show!!!bthe opening acts were wonderful and the amount of energy from every band was incredible. Merriweather is an outstanding venue for all ages.
Great bands! Wonderful venue. Had great time. I loved the music and atmosphere. What a great show!
It was a perfect evening. We danced! We drank! We Vibed! And We Sang the night away. From the opening band through the final encore, it was night that can't be beat!
OAR outstanding has always! Really enjoyed American Authors. But Andrew McMahon was extremely difficult to listen to because of the excessive bass. Perhaps he needs to find a new sound engineer! We had to leave the pavilion to while Andrew was in stage.
It's hard to find enough superlatives for this concert and the venue. It was great in every way. The music, not surprisingly, was just outstanding. As to the venue, it's great indoors and good outdoors. They even have Impossible Burgers. The selection of beers is outstanding. My only complaint is that for a limited number of seats in section 301 (and the same section on the other side) the view of the stage is seriously obstructed for the entire concert by the one and sometimes two ticket checkers looking at tickets for the 100 and 200 section seats. To their credit when I went to complain after the second band was done they moved us into prime seats without blinking an eye. If we'd stayed in the obstructed view seats for the whole time I would have given a two or three star rating. And finally, I purchased my seats within minutes of them going on sale. There were no 100 or 200 section seats available... none. That is just not right.
This was our first trip to the Merriweather Post Pavilion and it was amazing! My wife and I had a fabulous time! It was her first time seeing O.A.R. and we are already looking forward to seeing them again! Absolutely the best show ever!
Actually bought tix because of Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness being part of the show...and they were great as always. American Authors came out with a lot of energy...but it was clear the crowd was there to see O.A.R. close out the tour....with the live taping. I was not aware of the history between OAR and Andrew McMahon....but there was a family type of closeness that lead to this being a Celebration...not just a Concert. Traveling from South Jersey to the Merriweather Post Pavilion is something we do a couple times a year, and look forward to each trip.
Shows was amazing. Lineup was silly. Great opening acts though they were really full concerts unto themselves. OAR did not disappoint. Crowd was super into it and the venue with its updates and while new modern feel was in full effect. Loved it.
If you are love OAR, you have to see them at Merriweather! The crowd is alive with energy and pride if this local band.
