We’ve now seen OAR twice at Merriweather. They sound amazing and really put forth an entertaining show. We would definitely see them again.
An OAR concert is always a great time! So much positive energy and great music. Love the mix of old and new.
The show was great. The updates at the venue were very nice. However they were late opening the gates, 40 minutes later than stated. we waited in the merch line for 30+ minutes while they set things up, they were late letting people in, that should’ve been set up and ready to go! Also people shouldn’t have to go outside of the “gate” to smoke. A designated smoking area would be nice.
Was a blast from beginning to end. All three bands put on a great show. Hope OAR makes it back to Merriweather next year.
Love O.AR... and the venue was amazing ... such a very talented band ... they do so much for the communities and people in need! Just a great Group of guys .!!!
OAR was amazing! Lots of songs I hadn’t heard before and they’ve added sax and trumpet. Had a rockabilly/reggae sound. American Authors we also fabulous. We needed a dance floor. Loves Rozzi too. She’s one to watch.
I've seen OAR about two other times at the HoB. This was by far the best they've ever been. First saw them about 20 years ago at the Gypsy Tea Room in Deep Elam, Dallas. Have loved their music ever since.
Oar never disappoints to put on an energetic and fantastic show. Houston show was no different. They didn’t seem bothered at all by the light crowd and were fantastic.
Seat was directly in front of upper mounted sound speaker. Speakers should be moved in a few feet. Doing this will not sacrifice venue sound but will save the ears of hundreds of people every year.
OAR played a great show at the Pacific Amphitheater. There were 3 bands and all transitioned well. OAR played for 2 hours! They are very humble and appreciative to all their fans on the stage. This is the second time I have seen them and I will continue to go see them when they are in town.
Great venue with an amazing set list. Seen them several times in the past but this was one of my favorites!
The bands were all incredible and the lineup was very complementary. The crowd was energized and really pulled together. Really had a great time.
Great venue, great show, great energy, good people. O.A.R. is one of out favorite bands, they put on such a great live show!
Second time we have seen American Authors. They are okay, but for some reason just cannot break through. But this was our first time seeing OAR and they are just outstanding. I cannot believe it took us so long to catch them live. They played for 2 hours 20 minutes, totally engaging, and really tight. Can't wait to see them again!
American Authors and OAR played their hearts out! They were so generous with their time and so great with the audience! They truly loved the Humphrey's Venue. People stood up, sang and danced for most of the OAR concert. The pre-opening act, Rozzi, was great too. OAR brought her on stage and she knocked it out of the park with Tina Turner's, What's Love Got to Do with It! So grateful to the musicians for their talent, energy and passion!
We absolutely loved American Authors. The provided a great party vibe that kept my wife and I on our feet throughout their set. Sorry to say O.A.R. did not. Their music is great but didn’t keep us going.
Didn't know that much about their music but now I'm a fan! Go see this fun and talented band if you get the chance! loved the outdoor experience as well
We had great tickets in the 3rd row. OAR put on an energetic performance. Although we were only 15 feet from the stage, we could barely hear the guitars, keyboard or singing. The only thing we could hear well was the drums and horns.
My husband introduced me to OAR. I think they’re a little Dave Matthews sprinkled w/ Marley. But hear them live and it’s a whole other world of awesomeness!!! Great group with so much energy, talent and friendship. Seen them twice now and would recommend to everyone.
I loved this concert. Small venue and both were awesome. That is O.A.O. And American Authors. Would go again!!!
