  • Go see this band!

by GuitarCarp on 10/3/12Upstate Concert Hall - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Man what a show! Luther is one of the best guitar players you will EVER see! I've seen him play with the Black Crowes about twenty times but this was my first NMA show. He can play and will play just about anything including a homemade guitar made from a can! He is a true guitar master! Won't miss another MNA again if they come within a couple hundred miles.

Awesome show! We did the VIP package and they all were very nice!

  • Awesome, but where were all the people.?

    by boopsie3643 on 3/19/12The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Thought they were great, first I saw them was when they opened up for Robert Plant. Love surprises like that....never heard of them and then you see them and they knock you for a loop. Deven Allman was a nice surprise Saturday.........can't wait to see him and Mike Zito in their new band...........quite an enjoyable evening!!!!

Amazing show, the guitarist is a freaking phenom! Great energy, great music. This is the second time I've seen them, and I would see them every time they come through town

  • N. Mississippi All Stars ROCKED the house!!

by MotherofaHurricane on 11/16/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

The NMAS are worthy successors of the BEST of Southern rock and roll and blues! Driving, virtuoso performances by all three members make this band a must see! So grateful they visit Colorado as much as they do, thank you!!!

Pure jam for the better part of three hours. These three musicians couldn't possibly have poured our more soul and skill. Managed to leave me wide-eyed...again...

They sounded great, they interacted with the crowd & it was an all-around good time.

  • Allstars, seem like rockstars now

by aspenron on 11/15/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

great music, the delay between Buffalo Killers and the Allstars start was unusually long. house was oversold, A lady standing next to me in front of the upstairs bar would not get off of her smart phone the whole time, very inconsiderate. Other than those 2 things, a great show as always.

Awesome show as usual, they jammed out and KILLED IT!

  • The best live band right now.

    by Obie09 on 11/13/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Luther and Cody Dickinson lay it down with Big Daddy Chris Chew, electric blues that hit so well you really can only experience this band live. When you see it live, you'll get it, then you're going want to to know when you can see it live again.

  • Fantastic!

Incredible guitar! 2 hour show! Great sound! Two friends never heard of them and really loved the show, too.

  • North Mississippi Allstars were ridiculous

    by TheProfessor22 on 10/24/11Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

These boys know how to jam! Really impressive trio. The guitarist/singer really lets loose with these guys as to when he is playing with the black crowes.

  • NMA was amazing as always!

by Carp on 10/23/11Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

NMA put on an excellent show! Cody on the electric washboard is always a favorite of mine. They get the room rocking from the first note and it doesn't stop til the very last.

  • non-stop jammin

by skihag on 4/4/11The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Saw ZZ Top years ago.Three guys so much sound.NMA even better.Cody on drums kicked ass every song without breaking a sweat.Lead guitar and vocals fit this music so well.I'm Diggin whenever the slide comes out. Will see them anytime I can.

  • Not Good

by dsimp on 3/28/11The Pageant - St LouisRating: 1 out of 5

I have seen NMAS 3 times before and they blew me away. This show was the complete opposite. The band didn't have any energy. They just seemed pissed off. Chew wasn't even out there for the first hour. Really disappointed in this show and you could tell the crowd was too. It didn't seem like anyone was into it and a ton of people left before the show was even close to over. Not sure what was going on with the band. I know they have had personal issues with their dad's passing, but this was just bad. I missed the insane guitar riffs, funky bass, and awesome drum solos. Cody thought about getting into a drum solo but failed miserably. I have a lot of respect for these guys, but I felt cheated after this show.

  • NMA exceptional show

by Kishk on 3/27/11The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Saw NMA at the Pagent last Friday. It was a fantastic show from the opening duo to the final song. I'm sorry I waited so long to see them live.

  • North Mississippi was Phenomenal

by Mtstan on 3/27/11The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic performance. Three hours of jammin. All the favorites plus the new ones from Keyes to the Kingdom.
