  • What a Night!

by dedektd on 3/14/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Being a huge fan of the Black Crowes I was very much aware of Luther Dickinson's amazing talent! However, I must admit, I was blithely unaware of his utter brillance. The evening was truly a night to behold and an treat for anyone who admires soulful tunes. It's staggering that three man can make that much of a full bodied sound. Loved every minute.

  • Luther gets it

by Judymae on 3/9/11Wonder Ballroom - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

These guys have the souls of true bluesmen. I have heard them several times and always enjoy. My favorite part was when he came out alone and played true blue blues. The group as a whole was fun, too, but I think they played more to the audience (as they should) and played a little more alternative/jam music. Still good though.

Great show with a showcase of the variety the Allstars bring to the table. Solo Luther songs were a nice start, and not too much of the new album. Still brought out the shredding guitar solos, and a few great cover tunes. Come back soon now!

  • Easily the best show I've ever seen.

Easily the best show I've ever seen. I honestly can't remember when I had so much fun stomping my feet and clapping my hands (kindergarten I think it was).

  • Wow. OUTSTANDING display of blues

    by ElCapitan1800 on 3/7/11Wonder Ballroom - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

These guys rocked. The setlist was over three hours of phenominal blues playing. I just stood there in awe watching him play guitar the whole time. So effortless seeming. Truly a hidden gem of a band, highly recommended!

  • Awesome show!!

    by bpierce13 on 3/13/10The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show! I haven't been to a show like this in a long time. Both Hill Country Revue and North Mississippi Allstars put on an amazing show. Hill Country Revue's 45 minute set was excellent. NMA put on a two and a half hour set that kept everyone going. Excellent from start to finish.

North Mississipi Allstars and Hill Country Revue played an excellent show. Lots of good jams and solos; both bands worked really well together. Lots of fun to watch them play.

  • NMAS Rocks the Blue Note.....again

The North Mississippi All Stars are a phenomenal live act. They have never dissapointed with their juke joint dirty blues style in the vein of RL Burnside. Amazing musicianship.
