Great Show. High Energy. Love the individual & Mix play between artists

  • North Mississippi Osborne

by 7bros on 3/1/15The Space At Westbury - WestburyRating: 2 out of 5

Anders Osborne and his band were great,as was Luther Dickinson, but, I'll take the 20 & 30 yr. old respectful "kids" in Brooklyn and Manhatten over the rude obnoxious 40 & 50 yr. old "adults" in the suburbs. In 1 ear, good music , in the other "chatterboxes". Have some class and go talk at the bar( we are paying to hear the music) not you. This had to be the worst crowd(not all.just too many) so far. I'll stick with the kids, you can have the "adults". This venue has potential, eventually. I'm see NMO again, but not here.

  • NMO-The Space, Westbury

by Daook on 3/1/15The Space At Westbury - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

Great energetic show by very good musicians at a really nice venue for a good price with close by free parking. Cant beat that.

  • NMO is a must see

by alienjns407 on 2/28/15Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 4 out of 5

two artists collaborating on a sweet southern sound. the chemistry is great. Each individual artist has time for solo works as well. if you love guitar, you'll be into it.

  • North Mississippi Osborne Killed It

by ChilldeBlasio on 2/26/15Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a great set. It killed me that I had to leave 3/4ths of the way through to pick up my girlfriend at the airport, but I was completely floored. Luther and Anders are an electric pair, and I loved every minute of this fiery show. Definitely bought the album the day after. A+, would highly recommend.

  • North Mississipi All-Stars Delivered

by RatatatNat on 2/26/15Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great time, very entertaining, the band played 3 hours...very generous of them to give an extended encore. Check them out. They knew how to connect with audience.

  • Stellar Show

by Mushjet on 2/23/15Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5

They played for a solid three hours. The venue is great. It's small and perfect for concerts. The parking was excellent. We love seeing the North Mississippi Allstars. They always put on a great show. Anders Osborne was really good too and complimented the NMA nicely.

We were visiting Florida when we heard these bands were going to be at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. They were terrific and a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend anyone who has a chance to check them out do so.

They never disappoint! They are a talented group of musicians that enjoyed interacting with the crowd.

  • Good show, tame in comparison

by AMetzdorf on 12/22/14Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

Luther and co. played for almost 3 hours, but it only got really awesome in the last hour or so. It might have been the venue and crowd that made the show feel tame and reserved, Buckhead is a little too posh for north Mississippi blues. There were glimpses of what a show used to look like, with cody on the washboard, but they never really threw down. Overall good show, just not great.

  • No MS All-Stars show All Star Form

by theluckya on 3/11/14Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Great great show. The boys have a command of and deep abiding respect for electrified Delta blues and the musicians who did made that genre what it is today. Massive licks, tasteful noodling and just plain power rocking blues done by four guys clearly enjoying themselves. While everyone in the crowd apparently did too.

From originals to classics back to Hendrix, what a show! 4 hrs of great music that kept you interested with different styles and lead change ups.

  • Solid!

    by Sasso2076 on 3/11/14Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Unbelievable show... one of my few dancing nights. They played forever and had the place bouncing all night long.

  • Best show I've seen in a long time.

by Jwmjr on 3/11/14Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Highly entertaining and professional. That music was great and very well done. Slide guitar at it's finest. My son is a drummer in a local Boston band and he remarked that the drumming was excellent and he is a tough critic!

  • Great energy

by CLHF on 3/11/14Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

If you like North Mississippi style blues you can't miss seeing these guys. They put on a great show. High energy and great fun!

  • They were amazing

Had such a great time!! I would highly recommend seeing them!

  • Crazy Good...

by Anonymous on 3/11/14Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I've been waiting 2+ years for NMA to come back to Boston. Saw them at the same venue last time (Paradise Club) and it is the perfect place to see them. Not much bigger than a Frat House basement! A lot of good noise in a small space. Luther and the gang were ridiculous, and played just about everything I wanted to hear, and then some. I believe there were 35 songs! So good, please make that an annual trip!
