About

Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce the long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand by one of the USA’s most critically acclaimed singer/songwriters – nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones.

The ‘Come Away With Me’ singer will perform three intimate headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart in April 2019, as well as five shows in New Zealand. These will be the beguiling pianist and vocalist’s first performances in Australia in six years – and 14 years in New Zealand! Tickets to all dates go on sale on Thursday 29 November via frontiertouring.com/norahjones.

‘She put on a self-assured show that drew from all aspects of her career while finding focus seated at the piano in her sultry, smoky-voiced comfort zone.’ – Philadelphia Inquirer

‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

‘Jones has become a more relaxed and mature performer... she is masterful at never overplaying, she also has an eclectic bent and knows how to rock out. Norah Jones keeps getting better with age.’ – Los Angeles Daily News

Our third time seeing Norah, she ages, like fine wine. She is a constant pro, with so much life experience and a pedigree of understanding and heredity. Listening to her concerts are so peaceful and soothing. We love her, Toronto loves her and I think she feels that for us as well. So glad to see her again.

Norah was great, highly recommend. She played music from her new album and some of her older hits. Such a wonderful evening.

Norah Jones put on a wonderful concert to an adoring audience.

  • Drenched In Wine(literally)

by BlackStar on 6/30/24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Even thought the concert was excellent and very entertaining, I could not believe she showed ip wasted like at, literally "drenched in wine"like her song says. Guess we going back to the 60’s when artists performed drunk. I noticed that her piano skill are at another level and makes songs she recorded earlier in her career sound a whole lot better with the additional notes. Was just a little bit disappointed she didn’t sing just a few more of her older songs. I have also thought of her as a "Piano Woman"the extended guitar playing kinda threw me off a little bit, but I guess a rock star has to play the guitar at some point. Her last song performance made it all worthwhile, she nailed it!! never seen her perform the song like that.

  • Not a bad seat in the house

by Hank's NginNgin on 5/29/24Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 4 out of 5

The 4 is for the Uptown Theater in Napa. It is the perfect, intimate venue. There is not a bad seat in the house. Norah has a beautiful voice; however, I am not a diehard fan. I only know her most popular songs. With that said, I wished she sang all her popular standards at the Napa show.

  • Amazing voice! Great Show!

Nora Jones' smooth raspy voice is so distinguishable, very enjoyable to listen to. Her performance was awesome!

Norah is such an amazing artist and entertainer. Excellent concert and back up band. She played for almost 2 hours! Such a treat.

  • Overpriced ticket experience

by DOLE on 5/23/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

Norah was lovely, but I felt cheated when the people seated next to me spent 100.00 less then I did for tickets....

  • A bit slow paced

by LK on 5/22/24The Apollo's Historic Theater - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

I’m not a huge fan of Norah Jones but I do enjoy some of her songs. I guess for a Sunday night in Manhattan I was hoping she would’ve went on before 9:15 PM when the ticket says 8 PM show. Her music sounds a bit the same to me. I was hoping she would’ve done a few upbeat cover songs to liven up the crowd. I think Ticketmaster should put on the ticket the actual start time that the show will start after openers. It would be helpful when trying to plan for dinner and traveling in.

  • Norah was amazing! The visibility in the theater is aweful!

by Gi on 5/19/24Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent music. Very good sound. Insuperable voice. Norah’s performance was impecable but she was too shy and did not interact much with the audience. But her music and her incredible voice (as always) were exquisite! If you are unlucky enough to have a person taller than you seated in front of you, you can forget about the show. You will seem nothing or get a neck pain after tilting your head to try to see in the little sliver left between two head. The floor slope of ten theater is minimum (almost nothing) the chairs are not very comfortable and too close. The rows where also too close and the chairs between rows were not even staggered. All of this makes it absolutely imposible to see the stage if you have a taller person in the row in front of you.

  • Phenomenal

by M.Kirsch on 5/19/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Listening to her effortless notes fill up The Met was a magical experience. A genuine, fun, organic artist sharing her gift with the world.

  • She’s so cool.

by Eddie on 5/19/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones was a great concert and she is cool and the performance was great. We enjoyed the entire evening and the venue is one of the best indoor smaller venues.

  • Wonderful

Parking around the Met is not so easy but Nora Jones was perfect

  • Great location

by Suz on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

The Met is a great venue for a concert. We will definitely go back. I really like Norah Jones, but I was disappointed in the show itself. We actually left early, which I never do. There was just no energy from the stage. I love Norah Jones’ music, she is super talented and has an amazing voice. I really expected more in person. I will continue to listen to Norah Jones but not live again.

  • Great Show... Nightmare parking

by Joe D on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

The Met is beautiful, great acoustics, helpful staff, Norah Jones was wondrous but the parking situation is a nightmare. $50-$100 to park is absurdly expensive and getting an Uber/Lyft after the show was chaotic and time consuming.

  • Very disappointing

by Rick from Philly on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 1 out of 5

Incredibly disappointing concert. We left after 90 minutes because she only played one song from her first two (and most popular) albums. Please play what your fans want to hear not your new album to try to get us to buy or download.

  • Remarkable Talent

by Mustang289 on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve wanted to see Norah Jones for years. Finally on 5/17/24, I got my chance at The Met in Philadelphia. I see a lot of live music and I pay attention to the sound. Norah’s crew got it just right: you could hear the instruments, especially Norah’s piano. Her voice was clear, pitch perfect and beautiful. She played just about all the favorites you would hope to hear, but with different arrangements and in new, exciting ways. This was especially true for “Happy Pills” and “Don’t Know Why”. I look forward to seeing her again.
