‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

My husband & I 👩🏻❤️👨🏻 enjoyed the Nora Jones concert & we didn’t want it to end. We had fabulous seats on top of everything else. She is a sensitive talent who has the voice of an angel 👼
Concert was dull and boring most people leaving before the encore Which is where Norah Jones played the only songs she was famous for. Very disappointing for the amount of money paid for tickets to see this person perform there Was no crowd interaction From the performer and no discussion of her music songs, journey and her history of being involved in music.
Norah Jones was a talented performer but clearly would have related better to the crowd in a smaller venue. To top it off the crowd was incredibly inconsiderate; talking through the performance, holding up cell phones to take videos and hundreds of people walked out before the last song which was very disturbing to those of us sitting right behind the isle.
The opener played twice as long as Norah Didn’t pay that kind of money for an 85 year old gospel singer. The sound was the worst I have ever heard at CMAC and have Been to many concerts in many different genres at CMAC. Very disappointing.
They put on a great show. At 85 Mavis’s voice is still strong.
She has a great voice and the band was strong. The music & lyrics on her new album were less interesting (simpler) than her older stuff, in my opinion, but enjoyable.
Norah and her band were phenomenal. Beautiful music, with stunning dynamics. Even in the large venue, it felt very intimate.
Noras music is beautiful but better suited to a smaller venue
Norah Jones put on an excellent show! Her pairing with Mavis Staples was a great idea and together, they sounded amazing! She has quite the talent to be able to to switch between the piano, keyboard and guitar and be able to make it work. And her voice as always was phenomenal! The only downside were the seat jumpers that were going from empty seat to empty seat through the show, and the folks that decided to have reunions with friends once the show started and standing in the middle of the seating areas blocking views.
Norah Jones is such a class act. I am so glad I got to see her in concert. She is so talented and I thoroughly enjoyed her performance.
I think everyone expects a pot smell at a concert, but NOT cigarette smoke. I was surprised … it was a bummer. NORA JONES was great, and Mavis Staple was incredible.
Not impressed with the sound in the venue. And how could she not sing turn me on, was shocked. Concert ended too early
Just like listening to her on Spotify. No crowd interaction skills. Mavis Staples was more interesting.
Nora Jones was an amazing artist, with a beautiful voice! Not high energy, but she sounded wonderful! Great concert and venue, had gret seats, could see everything! Would highly recommend! She sang songs from her new album and many of her older tunes!! Well worth the money! Mavis Staples was amazing as well, she's still going strong! Great opening act!
I’m not even a Nora Jones fan but my wife is and we were visiting family in Canandaigua so we figured we’d see the concert. Marvis Staples opened for Nora and did a great performance. Nora Jones wasted no time showing the audience how talented she is. Truly enjoyed the show. My only beef was with the venue. Very strict on what can be brought in and the kids directing traffic on the way out were horrible. When exiting the parking lot, we were forced to make a left which turned our 1 mile trip back to the hotel to a 7 mile unfamiliar back roads trip at night. I would see Nora Jones again, just not at that venue.
Well first of all -- MAVIS STAPLES!! I didn't know that she was opening for Norah Jones, so what a great surprise to see a true legend!! And I love when younger artists are including and supporting allowing these legends to continue to do what they love even as they age. Norah and her ensemble were wonderful! She is soooo talented and played hard with her group for an hour and 45 minutes. Really enjoyed hearing her live! It was hard to hear some of her lyrics as the speaker system was not clear and the music overpowered her at times. Also, the half hour break between her and Mavis Staples was on the long side. Other than that, an enjoyable evening!
Norah Jones was great and she's got a great band as well. She played almost all of her new album which I'm glad we listened to before the concert to become familiar with it. We enjoyed Mavis Staples as well and her band and it was nice that Norah Jones did a duet with her. A very enjoyable evening overall.
Beautiful venue, intimate outdoor concert theater. Ushers were helpful and friendly, security as well. Excellent experience!
The event lacked intimacy and connection to the artist. Norah Jones deserves a better/smaller venue to showcase her amazing talent.
