About

Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce the long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand by one of the USA’s most critically acclaimed singer/songwriters – nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones.

The ‘Come Away With Me’ singer will perform three intimate headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart in April 2019, as well as five shows in New Zealand. These will be the beguiling pianist and vocalist’s first performances in Australia in six years – and 14 years in New Zealand! Tickets to all dates go on sale on Thursday 29 November via frontiertouring.com/norahjones.

‘She put on a self-assured show that drew from all aspects of her career while finding focus seated at the piano in her sultry, smoky-voiced comfort zone.’ – Philadelphia Inquirer

‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

‘Jones has become a more relaxed and mature performer... she is masterful at never overplaying, she also has an eclectic bent and knows how to rock out. Norah Jones keeps getting better with age.’ – Los Angeles Daily News

  • Great Voice, needs work on audience interaction

by MikeK on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

Nora could sing a news article and it would sound great. What an amazing voice. But she doesn't even notice there is an audience at the concert. She very rarely looks at the audience and other than saying, I love Philadelphia she really doesn't interact.

  • New songs

by Not worth the effort on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 2 out of 5

Too many new songs vs the old - met venue has decent viewing and acoustics and bar facilities

  • The concert was good, but it started very late

by LMMW on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

My very expensive box seat had zero visibility of the stage. I could only see in the stage left wing, no performers at all.

  • Nora's the best!

by Bill on 5/18/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, including Emily King. Nora's a singer, not a talker. Nearly non stop performing. The Met in Philly (first visit) was a great venue. Strongly suggest buying parking with Tix. Still had to walk about 6 blocks. Otherwise, you might be driving awhile for street parking. Now that I know the set up, I'd go again

  • Amazing Show in amazing place

by David on 5/13/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

I travel from Chile for this show and all expectatives was surpassed….. security, bar, staff in the theatre, show and performance!! All was amazing and Olivia King & Norah Jones was amazing….i love it

  • Norah Jones - simple treasure!

by Chris C on 5/13/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones and Emily King both put on great shows. NJ put on a great show. She sang while playing the piano and also sang a bunch of songs while playing an electric guitar as well. She played for about 90 minutes. Would have hoped for more but it was a solid 90 minute set.

  • Emily & Norah

by Sb on 5/9/24MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Would live to have heard more of Emily. Norah played a long set which was great, but seats at the MGM Fenway are very tight and uncomfortable. Best song was Norah and Emily together! Was a little disappointed that Norah’s “oldies” had been upgraded. They were beautiful the first time she sang them and I would have loved to hear them just that way again.

  • AWESOME

by SweetPea on 10/27/22Oxbow RiverStage - NapaRating: 5 out of 5

I saw her preform in Napa. SHE WAS AWSOME!!! Such a sweet soul. She sang all her great songs. She’s a very down to earth and sweet lady. I can’t wait until she comes back. I will definitely her again!!!

  • Dreamy, warm night, cooling off at sunset.

by EllieB on 9/24/22Pier Six Pavilion - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Magical night. Norah is not only a soaring songstress but an amazing performance artist with great backup musicians. Opening act was perfectly in sync with entire evening and joined Norah on stage.

  • Annoying

by Ron P. on 8/9/22Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 2 out of 5

She hardly sang well known songs. It also felt like she’s singing the same song over and over again, all songs sounded the same.

  • Norah

by Jess on 8/6/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones, and her band were spectacular! My adoration for her lovely voice grew even greater after finally seeing her live!

  • A Very Good Show but not for the reasons I thought would be

by My second time around on 8/6/22Rating: 4 out of 5

I'm giving a four star rating, but not because of Norah. She was fine, maybe three stars at best. Leader Bank Pavillion, formerly Harborlights and many other names over the years, is still a superb place to see a concert. on the water with superb acoustics. Staff is professional and friendly. Very friendly. Concessions are expensive, but of course, this is Boston. What made the night was the superb opening set from Regina Spektor and the relaxing VIP section of the Pavillion. Regina played a tight 50 minute set of 12/13 songs. She covered tons of ground with humor laced with underlying satire. How can you not love a set with song titles like Samson, Baby Jesus, Ballard of a Politician, and Poor Little Rich Boy??? And a tribute to the suffering in the Ukraine. All she needed was a Steinway and a Yamaha and she was in business. No need for supporting band. Constantly smiled at audience. Thanked profusely the audience. Thunderous applause at the end. Will see her live if she returns to Boston easily. Also kudos to the VIP experience. Staff attentive and enthusiastic. Comfortable seats in the lounge. TVs to watch sports and live shows. Awesome. Did not walk away disappointed. As for Norah, the headliner: the good news is that when an artist of her talent is going through the motions, she is still very good. The bad news is that as an audience we don't get top notch. A B- Norah Jones is still better than 95% of artists out there. But we pay for A-/A. Oh well, and so it goes. An off night, but still a fun night for a spectator.

  • Regina Spektor

    by GEB71 on 8/6/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

The acts were definitely in the wrong order. Regina Spektor opened up for Norah Jones but it should have been the other way around. Regina put on a far more entertaining show and there were clearly more Regina fans there than Norah fans.

  • Great venue

    by M.E.G. on 8/6/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time at this venue and I loved it. It was clean, well managed and just lovely for a hot summer's night. I wish Norah had played more upbeat kinds of songs or at least allowed her very capable band to riff off her singing. Having said that, I'm still glad I went.

  • Nicely balanced evening

by Ken on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones was wonderful, but truth be told I feel the opening act Regina Spektor stole the show!

  • Worst purse policy

by RK on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

Live Nation has the WORST purse policy. I will avoid any future concerts brokered by Live Nation at all costs. No reflection on Nora Jones, she out on a lovely show.

  • Relax, and enjoy.

by Shep-dogg on 8/5/22Saratoga Performing Arts Center - Saratoga SpringsRating: 4 out of 5

A stunning musical experience with a top of the class talent. I realized quickly that the amphitheater ticket (7th row) that I’d purchased months ago wasn’t necessary, and it was ALL about the music, so I moved outside (to the lawn) and truly enjoyed the show. Perfect night.

  • Long lines

by Laurie on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

This was the longest line I've ever had to wait in for a show at the pavilion. They have a new bag policy that's confusing and sent almost everyone back to the end of the line if they had a bag. You can check it for a cost but I wouldn't trust leaving valuables there. People had to get out of the line to go back to their cars then return. Many missed the whole opening act

  • I bathed in her buttery voice.

    by M. D. on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

It was a beautiful evening and her beautiful voice washed over me. A tingly experience for all of my senses. Absolutely Blissful!

  • Show ruined by bag policy

by Katie G on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

Be warned- this venue does not allow bags in at all unless they are clear or very tiny- the size of a hand. Live Nation sent multiple emails ahead of the event with pre-show information and didn't include this fact, or even a link to venue details, so when we showed up we waited in a 3 block long line to get in, only to be told we had to wait in a second line so I could pay $10 for them to take my bag. This was my 7 year old's first concert and we missed the entire set of the opening act, who was the artist we came to see. She was heartbroken. Extremely disappointed in Live Nation's poor customer service both before and after the show.
