‘She put on a self-assured show that drew from all aspects of her career while finding focus seated at the piano in her sultry, smoky-voiced comfort zone.’ – Philadelphia Inquirer
‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times
‘Jones has become a more relaxed and mature performer... she is masterful at never overplaying, she also has an eclectic bent and knows how to rock out. Norah Jones keeps getting better with age.’ – Los Angeles Daily News

Always a great show
by KIWAJ on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 3 out of 5It was my fourth Norah Jones show, all at different venues. I would give the setlist a C+, the overall entertainment quality a A-, and the Venue an A. Great show, great venue and average setlist for Norah...
Norah is Pure.
by cptron on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 5 out of 5Pure voice - Pure sound - Pure entertainment. Just a great show. Her stage presence, her voice, her band. Everything you could ask for in a live show. And the venue - EJ Thomas Hall is just a pleasure to see a show in - could not ask for a better sound.
Norah Jones didn't disappoint!
by Aero21 on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 5 out of 5Norah Jones was incredible! She sounded great! It was like listening to her cd's, but better since it was live.
Great as always.
by JoeAP on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 5 out of 5I've now been to four different Norah concerts with my wife and all of them have been very enjoyable. Her voice is simply amazing. She is a natural talent. And her band is solid as well, especially the drummer and keyboard player. Her backup singer (Sasha Dobson) opened the show for her and played for about an hour. She was fun and talented, but not quite up to the level of Norah. E.J. Thomas Hall was large, but the sound system was excellent.
Absolutely amazing live
by mc12 on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 5 out of 5If you ever get a chance to see Norah Jones live, do not pass it up!
Norah was raw talent at its finest!
by Alley28 on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 5 out of 5Norah sounds better in concert than on the CD...you just don't find that very often.
Awesome!
by slvd on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 5 out of 5I could listen to Norah all day long - amazing concert!
Norah...
by cleomax on 3/12/10E.J. Thomas Hall - AkronRating: 2 out of 5I love her and her music, but i would recommend buying her music and just listening to it and not paying to see the band. It's not the type of band that puts on a great show or anything. But the fact that she came to Akron is cool. Maybe if you were right down front, it would have been different. The lighting was not the best to even see her facial expressions!

Norah was as perfect as you would expect her to be. Her voice is so effortless and her fun personality really comes out on stage. A must see for Norah fans.
Norah Jones & Co were AWESOME
by JJinDSM on 3/11/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5Norah Jones & Co were Awesome. I would go to the same concert again tomorrow. I lost her latest CD and will be buying a second one if it doesn't surface soon. I'm also going to see what videos I can find of her/band playing. She told the audience in Des Moines that her new band doesn't have a name. I think the Explorers was a good recommendation but also think that "& Co." would be good or "Norah Jones & Her Big Boy Band".....vs. her "Little Girl Band". The ONLY thing that would have made the concert better would have been a big sreen or two. JJ

Was expecting to hear more of her original music. The pre-band was awful and played for 40 minutes. Then the Norah Jones set up took 20 minutes before they started. Why weren't they ready to start right away. The concert was on weeknight, starting at 8:00 pm. Forget the preband and start right away. Wanted to hear more of her old style. Very disappointed.
Norah Jones: a spectacular performance
by loveyoga on 3/11/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5Its safe to say that Norah Jones has undeniable talent but what makes her performances even greater is her personal way of entertaining her crowds. Down to earth and spunky, she utilized all areas of the stage keeping the audience guessing what and where she would be going and doing next. The music was perfect. The band was completely insync showing off their incredible musicianship and talent. It was obvious that this concert did not go on without abundant amounts of rehearsal and their hard work paid off. Excellent show!! I can't wait to see her again!!!
New music very, very good
by Franeuge on 3/11/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 4 out of 5Very good music, soothing and easy to like. Most songs she played where form her new album that I wasn't familiar with, but it was very easy to like and enjoy. Few olddies but did not miss them. She mentioned this was a new band and they did not have a name yet for it. Someone shouted "How about Norah and the Explorers" she was a good game about it, and laughed with the rest of us.

The Nora Jones concert was wonderful! All of her word were clear, her voice lovely; I enjoyed her more when her band is less. The real downer in this great performance was all the elctronics around me. The texting, phoning, picture-taking on the cellphone right in front of me was distracting, but the real clincher was the damned flash repeatedly going off over my left shoulder, immediately behind me. What happened to 'ABSOLUTELY NO CAMERAS/RECORDERS'? They were all over the place. This was NOT good.
Nora was AWESOME
by webbgolf on 3/11/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5I thought Nora was an amazing performer. What a pure voice!!
It was a good show?
by cpop on 3/10/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 3 out of 5Overall I thought that it was a good show but it wasn't any where near as amazing as I had hoped. The venue was a little more uptight that I personally would have liked. I love Norah's newest CD but I would have liked to have heard some songs from her other CDs.
Oh Norah
by CholeyD on 3/10/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5One of the greatest, most intimate performers I have seen!! I loved EVERY second of it !
Norah Jones no showman
by Teddley on 3/10/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 3 out of 5Norah is such a great talent. Her voice and style are what brought me to the concert. I loved her first abum but not the most recent. Her band was average at best and Norah is probably at her best in the studio. The opening act was terrible . . . it was that simple. The fact that it took 25 minutes between the opener and Norah made it less than memorable.
norah
by interesting on 3/10/10Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 3 out of 5I just love Norah, she's so talented and has a very unique amazing voice. I did see her 2-3 years ago in Minn. and must admit, we loved the show much more then. I'm just not getting into the 'big band' thing with her. To me she was better with her guitar and piano - and not all the extras?
