‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

norah and here band put on a pretty good show. I would go see here again.
FEATURING MANY CUTS OFF HER LATEST CD, THIS SHOW WAS SPELLBINDING. NORA HAS CHARM, WIT, AND WE ALL KNOW HER VOICE AND STYLE OF DELIVERING A SONG ARE MESMORIZING. WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH THE PACE OF THE SHOW AND ENJOYED HER NEW BAND TO THE POINT I WENT OUT AND PURCHASED SMOKEY'S CD ON LINE. SASHA IS PERFECT IN HER ROLE BACKING UP NORA.. WELL WORHT THE PRICE OF ADMISSION...
Great show! The greatest measure of a musician is how they sound live and Norah didn't miss a note. The opener was another talented musician, but he's more than a little odd. Think vampire puppet musical, a la "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
Great concert. Voices and instruments were blended perfectly...sound was incredible. Band was so talented and Norah shared the spotlight so well. Beautiful theater, too!
Great show once again by Norah. New stuff isn't all that great except for Man of the Hour. The old stuff and encores were wonderful.
Loved listening to Norah live. It was great to see her live interaction with the audience. She has quite a sense of humor! She played a nice mix of music, & played a variety of instruments. Loved the Piano!
exellent sound at O'Shaughnessy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The BEST in town easly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sonically, visually and aesthetically pleasing. Norah is becoming more and more a class act seasoned performer. Always worth the price of admission.
She sings like an angel and left me captivated. Her Elvis song was great.
Norah Jones has a remarkable voice and is also very warm, friendly towards the audience and charmingly stylish. She seemed happy to have us there cheering and whistling for her.
She has 5 other band members and at least 4 of them play multiple instruments. She is funny too! A couple of her jokes had me smiling the rest of the night. She played mostly songs from her new album but a few of our old favorites too.
Nora's music was great to listen to at the O' Shaugnessy Auditorium
Norah Jones can sang..........she doesn't just sing, she sangs. Her voice is infectious. She is so incredibly talented switching between guitar and piano and she can sing like a nightingale. She played the slow ones, some fast ones, some country ones, some pop ones and some blues ones. She has such charisma on stage. She was very playful with the audience and had a great rapport with the crowd. Man, can she SANG!! Norah Jones is a major league talent, it was a great show, my wife and I loved it. Norah Jones is AWESOME!!!!
All though Sasha is talented her act put me to sleep then she complained about her long shift which I thought was really tacky but no worries. I thought the band drowned out Norah' voice to much. My wife didn't think it was as bad as I thought but then she said that it takes a while for a band to figure out the noise problems. Norah was wonderful but I'm just being honest the show was just ok for me. The last half of the show was much better then the first.
Norah opened at O'Shaughnessy with her new band playing 4 songs from her new work, The Fall. It's a nice change for her sound, but she seemed hesitant or maybe her sound was swallowed up by all the other sounds, bass, extra keyboards and drums. When she sat down at the piano and played some of her older tunes, even with newer arrangements, she seemed to connect more with the crowd. The most raucous applause was for her solo effort covering an Elvis tune--when her voice was all by itself and sounding more vulnerable. She also seemed more comfortable playing songs that had that country or rockabilly flair. I think she'll end up back in Austin and playing her older style in the end.
I saw Norah when she came on the sceen and she was a very tentaive performer. She has grown into a confident and charming perfomrer. She has diversified arrangements and is confident enough to play with the arrangements of her hits. PS - she is absolutely beautiful too Great show.
First of all, the opening act was terrible - I came to see Norah Jones and for $56.00 it was NOT worth it. I rather have listened to her CD's. She only played for an hour and a half and kept saying hello to Mpls., when indeed we were in St. Paul. I've seen a lot of concerts but this by far was the worst.
I liked her better when she first started. She is at her best on her own at the piano, her band has gotten too big and it seemed to overshadow her.
Vintage Nora and Nora on the piano were awesome. Great rendition of a Presley standard! Not too crazy about her new stuff or her guitar playing.
