The ‘Come Away With Me’ singer will perform three intimate headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart in April 2019, as well as five shows in New Zealand. Tickets to all dates go on sale on Thursday 29 November via frontiertouring.com/norahjones.

‘She put on a self-assured show that drew from all aspects of her career while finding focus seated at the piano in her sultry, smoky-voiced comfort zone.’ – Philadelphia Inquirer

‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

‘Jones has become a more relaxed and mature performer... she is masterful at never overplaying, she also has an eclectic bent and knows how to rock out. Norah Jones keeps getting better with age.’ – Los Angeles Daily News

The concert had a great feel and the performance was terrific. New band is solid and connected. Warm-up guy was entertaining & funny. It would have been nice to hear Sasha Dobson warm up too.

She was absolutely fantastic. Maybe even better in person!

The show was great. She did all her hits and plenty off the new cd. I found her to be very personable and interacted well with the crowd. If I had to say one thing on the negative, it seemed she could have played just a little longer. But then I guess we always will say that when we enjoy the performance:)

  • Nora was FANTASTIC!

    by macosta1 on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing Nora Jones live. She was a little late getting started, but her show was amazing! Honestly her cd's do not do justice to her voice, her playing or her band. The cd's sound flat compared to her live show! She is a beautiful, witty and very talented singer! She interacted with her audience and was very charming throughout the entire evening. Her show lasted about two hours plus an hour for the opening act (he reminded me of Neil Young). I can't wait to see her again! I have seen many concerts (U2, Elton John, John Melloncamp) and few artists sound better then their recordings, miss Jones certainly does!

  • Norah's performance could have been better...

by TMnJRI on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The sound was "off," Norah sounded a bit tired, her backup vocals, Sasha, looked "odd." Needs a fashion consultant displeasingly distracting. Norah looked great however. A good performance. Not great, but good. And, $35 for a t-shirt? It was not even organic cotton...I thought the vinyl was a cool thing tho.

Sound could have been louder, but overall a great show!

  • Norah Jones is AH-MAZING!!!!

by EricaWallskog on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second Norah Jones concert. It excelled my expectations except for I need to figure out how to sit in the front row next time, I was in the Loge, which was nice, but she is my favorite musician and I want to actually be able to see her!! I was very happy with her setlist, especially since she played Jesus, etc and Strangers.

Acoustics at Chicago theater were tremendous. New stuff to start the set were ---OK. Last 45 minutes were great. 4.5 STARS

  • Sound left sometthing to be desired

by Anonymous on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Nora and her band were great! Great selection of old and new songs. Nora was great interacting with the audience. The sound was not EQ'd as well as it should have been for this type of venue. The Rhodes keyboard was too distorted and the acoustic piano sounded very "tinny". We would go again....but we just expected more from a professional sound crew.

  • Norah was amazing!

Norah Jones should not be missed. If you get the chance to see her live do so. Could have arrived late to skip opening act though.Otherwise great time.

  • Come Away With Me! was exceptional!!!

    by Barbie10 on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole concert!! The lighting was terrific and so colorful and her band was awesome!! She has a one of a kind voice and she is VERY personable. You can tell she truly enjoys performing and interacting with her audience.

This concert was quite disappointing. Norah Jones' earlier songs (while written soulfully and full of heart) fell flat. The pieces from the new album have a nouveau-90's pop vacancy. While my mom liked the funny song about the dog (and I'm sucker for LoneStar) there was just not much about the evening that was moving, inspiring or really very enjoyable. The new band did not add anything. The lighting was distracting and overdone. If you have seen Norah Jones perform before, I would strongly suggest skipping this concert. It is a shame--I have been listening to Norah Jones since her first album was released but I am sad to say that her ship may have sailed.

  • Norah Jones - Versatile in Style and Talent

    by Fan2see on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Norah Jones is like a favorite quilt. Her music wraps around you with warmth and comfort. She connects to the heart and mind across generations. It is music that cuddles up to you. From pop to jazz to country to bluesy slide, her variation in style fits together like the beauty of the patchwork. The arrangements are crafted with thoughtful detail. Each talented musician contributes his or her unique skills seamed together to create the stellar finished product. Smokey Hormel and female guitarist (Sasha?) were awesome. As with many artists, she started with current stuff, but pleased crowd with older (and to me preferred) favorites like Come Away With Me. The venue at Chicago Theater provided crisp clear sound enabling appreciation of all the lyrics, a rarity these days. We'll all be "waiting" for Norah to come back to Chicago.

  • Love Norah!

Norah's show was well worth waiting for. While her stage presence seems a little green, she has a wonderful, unique talent and style. We are huge Norah Jones fans.

Great show. More chatty than normal, playful. Looked gorgeous. Sounded awesome. Covered a Wilco tune. Heavy on new CD.

  • Norah Jones was delightful

by dbak on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones concert was excellent. She played a mixture of old and new hits. She would be better served, however, with a different "warm-up" act. He was boring and each time he started a new song, it was "oh, no" not another one! She could do much better.

  • music to put old people to sleep by....

by chitowndude on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

i have to admit to never being a huge norah jones fan... until "the fall" i thought she was just another incarnation of the diana krall archetype but with a country twist. "the fall" knocked me out... outstanding songwriting, stellar musicians, well recorded and produced. i was psyched to see her play that music live and, for the first five minutes of the concert, i thought i was in for a treat. she opened with " i wouldn't need you " which was KILLER, and then continued with much material from the new album which led to her old material and a few covers (wilco).... i was ultimately dissappointed by her band. her drummer rushed, never settled into a "pocket" when some of the songs on "the fall" have a very, very deep groove. strong points: Norah's voice... wow. Norah's guitar playing... pretty darn decent rhythm guitar work A few of the new tunes weak points: no musical surprises or risks (everything played VERY close to the record) lack of groove super short tunes general malaise I guess this would be a killer concert if you're in your 60's and have a thing for John Grisham, Law and Order, etc.... but coming from someone who's Norah's age and also is a professional musician, this concert was a snoozer.

  • Loved Her!

by Anonymous on 3/21/10The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones is amazing live. Her voice is so beautiful, she's better live than recorded. Wonderful show!

Norah has a great new band, well worth checking out. Really good groove, and she mixed old and new very nicely, with a few surprises.
