About

For the first time in League history, the National Hockey League (NHL) will host outdoor hockey in Florida. Celebrating the explosive growth of hockey in Florida over the last three decades, the League will stage two outdoor games in the Sunshine State during the 2025-26 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the Boston Bruins in the 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 1, 2026.

The 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series is the Lightning's second outdoor game appearance, and the Bruins' sixth. Tampa Bay scored a 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators at Nissan Stadium in Nashville at the 2022 NHL Stadium Series while Boston owns a 4-1 record in outdoor games dating back to the 2010 NHL Winter Classic, a 3-2 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park.

After securing the tickets my experience with TickerMaster was so easy! They sent reminders for my upcoming event and made sure everything was set up before going!

by Eddie on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 5 out of 5

Football stadium better than baseball stadium because the rink was centered on all parts.

  • Overall good except getting in and out of Metlife

    by Lja1187 on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 5 out of 5

Hands Down THE BEST Rangers game we have ever attended. It was our first outdoor game and a surprise for my son’s Birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a more exciting or epic finish!!

  • Game Was Great - Everything Else Not So Much!

    by RR926 on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 2 out of 5

We were in the area at 1:50PM. My GPS said .9 of a mile to go...12 minutes! We got through security and the gate at 3:45PM. Thank God the puck drop was pushed 45 minutes later. We missed any pregame tuff, the National Anthem, the flyover and the puck drop. We could hear it while trying to run to our seat. Parking was a nightmare. We couldn't park at the stadium, they pushed us over to the mall. Parking garage they made us go in was insane. After driving up and down, we wound up parking illegally on a ramp at 3:25PM. We had to go through the cattle car and thank God the gate was right by there. My kids got to park in Parking lot P which was fine. BUT it took them 50 minutes to get through security and into the stadium. They missed half of the first period. They got into the parking lot at 2:50. They got off of Route 17 at 1:30. Traffic was insane. They were near the stadium before I was. They approached from Paterson Plank Road and I approached from Washington Avenue. Why weren't there police or traffic assistants stopping the craziness of cutting in and/or promoting the alternate merge? The lines would move so much better. People were just driving up the side and cutting in so it took us forever to go .9 of a mile because of that. AND people don't do the alternate merge very well. Once we were in the stadium, everything was great. glad we went but we will never do it again.

  • Awesomeness!

Loved it! One of the best sporting events I’ve ever attended!!!

  • Great game, Great seats, awful venue

by Matt on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 3 out of 5

The stadium Series experience was amazing. The game was tremendous and the view from our seats worked out well. That said MetLife is an absolute dump. I love the New York Giants and it really pains me to say that building that stadium was a waste of 2 billion dollars. The lines for the bathroom are horrendous, the kiosk vendors are trashy and getting in and out of that stadium is a nightmare. It might be the worst Sports venue on the planet.

  • Great Experience

    by J2P on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 5 out of 5

This is the 4th outdoor game I've attended and as always, it's a great time. Security line was super easy to get through, food options were good (expensive but that's to be expected), and the game was great. The only negative is that the game started 30 minutes later than advertised and I wish there was better communication around that.

  • Islander mom & Ranger (adult) son-AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

by Tara N. on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 5 out of 5

80,000 NY rivaling fans in one venue with a mini concert, several all time all stars and oh so much more! This event was spectacular with an unmatched energy for a mother/son duo who are ALWAYS fans of rivaling NY teams and we have attended several NFL games at MetLife, and Isle/Ranger games at MSG and, Nassau Colesium and UBS. Nothing has ever compared to the hype and energy at this game and venue. We travelled from Eastern Long Island by train which has its pros and cons, but in my opinion, better than driving. We purchased some food, soda and hot chocolate, all of which were reasonable stadium prices but better than average stadium quality. Employees and security were everywhere, helpful, positive and respectful but the event was beyond comparison to all of our many previous event experiences. Will 100% attend again if they bring back another Islander/Ranger Stadium series at MetLife.

  • Nice

by Amart on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the game was awesome and MetLife didn’t a good job. With 2 exceptions 1. Not enough Port a John’s. 2. Not enough help at Concession stands. The lines were way too long.

  • Crowded

by DDD on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 3 out of 5

MetLife was not prepared for this event in the winter. Parking was a mess. Getting into the stadium took 30 mins. Bathroom lines were long. Luckily the game made up for it. Good luck with the World Cup lol

  • The game was amazing had great time .

by Andrea on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 3 out of 5

I went To concession two different times . 1st time which was before the game started i was Told there was no hot chocolate & no stadium series hot cups either . Later went back there was no more pretzels . I would Think MetLife would be prepared for this game, considering the amount of people in attendance for this event . They would know by the amount of tickets sold . Especially the fact that there was 150,000 people between both days .

  • Terrible Venue

by Alex M. on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 2 out of 5

It’s a cute little gimmick, but it would be nice if you could actually see the play on the ice. The 100’s seats are too low and far away from the play, you can’t make out what’s going on. The 300’s were very high up, but it seemed like those seats had a better view of the game. Not to mention, Met Life is one of the worst stadiums I have ever been to. Can’t move around the concourse between periods. All in all, a bad experience.

  • Hockey = Outside

by Sonic on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 5 out of 5

Parking was Great, the events were fun, lines were long!! The game itself was exciting n the rivalry it should be Isles vs Rangers always fun!

  • I thought MetLife Stadium was supposed to be an improvement?

by Lena on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 3 out of 5

Couldn't wait for the Stadium Series after attending the Winter Classic at CitiField in 2018. What a let down. MetLife is completely disorganized. Parking was a disaster as was check in 2 hours before the original scheduled time. I'd take Giants Stadium back in a heartbeat. This, in a word, was a DUMP. Three starts for the event because I love the Rangers

  • Excitement outweighed the cold

by -rjb on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 5 out of 5

Went to the Sunday Rangers-Islanders game. Great atmosphere, great experience, & great game! (& I am an Islanders fan, dreaded the O.T. loss- but it was a GREAT GAME)..... NYR-NYI hockey rivalry at its best!. Scored goal and fight in opening minutes and game went into overtime. The NHL could have done a better job with the start time and sun glare onto the ice rink (which delayed the game about 45 minutes, but....) Pre-game festivities was fun/entertaining. It was cold, but drinks and blanket helped. Playoff caliber ice hockey into this heated rivalry - the two teams hadn't played each other in about 14 months. Overall, we had a blast ! ( Voice was coarse afterwards from all the yelling during the game) and the Rangers fans vs. Islanders fan bantering back n forth is always fun!

  • Great atmosphere!

by Ian on 2/21/24MetLife Stadium - East RutherfordRating: 5 out of 5

We loved the buzz of 80000 people singing and cheering! Oh yeah and the hockey game was very entertaining even though wrong team won. Go Isles GO!
