  • Beautiful!

by Amy on 5/11/25Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

A beautiful combination of different ballets. From the dancers, to the choreography, to the costumes each were wonderful. Look forward to the next performance of the New Jersey Ballet. 🩰

NJB’s performance was beautiful. All the dancers were at their best and looked like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Such talent. They reach ever higher levels of excellence each time I see them.

  • Surprisingly Bad, I want my ticket back.

by Rosa on 12/10/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 1 out of 5

Very disappointing experience. For 3 reasons. 1. The first 45 mins, you have a group of 20 10-yr-olds dancing unorganized, and super immature in dancing. They get a chance to go on stage because they are students in NJ ballet school. 80 dollar per audience is too much for a student performance. It's a little ugly how the group is trying to make every penny of money. 2. The main character The girl, dancing poorly and have fake smile all the time. 3. There finally be some professional in last 45 mins, and the couple who lead the performance has a disaster failure in their last position. The male dropped the female. Such a waste of time and money experience, won't go again.

  • So worth the trip!

Such an enjoyable experience! The dancers were great, the choreography was superb and the theater was so comfortable and reasonably priced. I’m so glad I made the trip from Manhattan, and I will come back!

  • Great New Works

by Buckaroo on 5/6/24New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

All three of these new pieces were great to watch, though I liked the Harrison Ball work the best. All show the influence of Balanchine and NYCB.
