NEON TREES IN CONCERT:

If Neon Trees' kaleidoscopic image is a perfect fit for their name, the band's sound is an even more fitting realization of their moniker, all punchy drums and prismatic synth lines.  Ever since being tapped by the Killers as openers on their2008 tour, the Trees have been an impressive live presence, delivering adrenalin-filled shows full of dance-ready songs like "Animal" and "1983." Frontman Tyler Glenn floored fans with his showmanship and intensity on the band's 2013 tour dates, and with a new album due out in 2014, he'll be bringing it harder than ever on the Pop Psychology Tour 2014.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Initially formed in California by singer Tyler Glenn and guitarist Chris Allen, Neon Trees soon moved to Provo, immersing themselves in the Utah Music scene and making a name for themselves in the region. After touring with the Killers in 2008, the band signed to Mercury Records and released their 2010 debut full-length Habits, an impressive first effort that spawned several singles and earned the band their first No. 1 with "Animal." 2012 follow-up Picture Show was an even bigger success, leading to tour dates with a slew of big name acts including the Offspring, Maroon 5, and Taylor Swift. With their third album Pop Psychology due out in 2014, the band are on the road once again for another high-octane tour.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Neon Trees' performance is always so energetic and interesting, it really does make the experience unforgettable. Tyler Glen is a performance genius and his voice is like butter."

"The lead singer is a fantastic performer. His dancing is contagious and makes me happy. They vary the songs, so they are not exact repeats of the CD version, and they go all out every night they perform."

"Neon trees put on an absolutely great show! The lead singer has ridiculously awesome stage presence and his energy is infectious. I would definitely see them again. "

    Best Concert.

by Julia on 9/18/23The Fillmore - San Francisco

I've only been to three concerts so far my whole life. Neon trees is my favorite band. Not only was the Fillmore venue gorgeous, the sound quality was amazing! As a person with anxiety, I did get a little overwhelmed by having to stand with all the people and how loud the bass was at times, but overall, an amazing experience. I would go to the Fillmore again for sure. Neon trees would have been amazing anywhere.

    Best performance yet!

by Jenlar on 4/29/17Michigan Lottery Stage - Royal Oak

Neon Trees is possibly the best band to see live. With boundless energy and dedication to their craft, the whole audience was kept wide-eyed and enthused throughout their performance. Tyler Glenn in particular impressed me with how into his performance he was! Very entertaining and definitely worth the money (granted, I saw them at a festival so it only cost me a couple dollars).

Neon Trees was better than expected

by jv0000 on 8/4/15Irving Plaza - New York

My wife & I took our 3 kids (13,15, 17) @ Irving Plaza. Great time. Sound was a little off at this venue. We sat in VIP upstairs. It was worth paying the upgrade to have a place to stand / sit if you want. Cool place though. We all enjoyed the show and like Neon Trees better now that before.

    Wicked awesome yet again!!!

by jayne13 on 7/29/15Paradise Rock Club - Boston

There's no way around it .... Neon Trees never fail to go all out with great music even on the last night of the tour. The sold out show had so much energy and even as hot and humid as it was, they never missed a beat. Looking forward to their next album and tour - when they come back to town, buy a ticket and enjoy the show!!

by CarynM on 7/29/15Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I've seen them twice. Once at House of Blues and this time at Paradise Rock Club. Both small venues. They absolutely rock it! Very Fun! And I'm in the age 40+ club. Will go see them every time they come to Boston.

Neon Trees had Irving Plaza jumping

by psurick75 on 7/26/15Irving Plaza - New York

The Trees are one of the most upbeat and talented group out there. The new female drummer ads a great voice to the group and they had Irving Plaza on fire.

    Coin was amazing

by anaivanovicfan on 7/24/15Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

Great concert. All 3 bands had very good moments. Fictionist opened with a great song and had a couple other good ones. I am a big fan of Coin and was not disappointed other than I had hoped that they would play longer than 30 minutes. They have so much energy! Neon Trees has a couple of great songs that I knew of, but I was truthfully a little disappointed in their other songs. They saved the best for last though. Their final 4 songs were amazing and made up for the rest of their performance.

    Neon Trees Never Disappoint!!

by pjtek on 7/20/15House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Neon Trees were amazing as usual! Fictionist and Coin were great, too! Venue was ok! Security was cracking down on underage drinking, but didn't bother with idiots on the floor! Not my favorite place, but definitely my favorite band to see live!!

    Best concert ever

by Teenmom1 on 7/20/15House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

This is the third time we have seen neon trees. House of blues was the best venue so far. We ate at the house of blues restaurant before the concert, and got front of the line access, so we were front and center. It was amazing. Neon trees puts on a great show. We love it every time. Best mother daughter day ever!

I went to the show the night before and had such a great time I decided to go to the next date! Neon Trees was amazing! The openers, Fictionist and Coin, were both excellent as well. The whole show was high energy with great crowd interaction. Great time!

I've seen Neon Trees 4 times now. They are my favorite. I've brought people who have never heard of them and even they have a blast. If you like this type of music then you are sure to enjoy their live show. They always have great openers also. Amazing time.

    a most intimate show

by ahab051 on 7/14/15State Theatre - St Petersburg

Neon Trees gave the performance of a lifetime. Tyler Glenn promised a special show to make up for a sore throat(I never noticed) and he delivered. The show was alive and the band was as tight as ever. There was raw emotions, Tyler gave all he had and the audience gave him their love right back. I want to know when Neon Trees will be back in the area but I know of no better venue then the State Theatre Saint Petersburg, Florida.

    Neon Trees were outstanding entertainment!

by Minxinmist on 7/14/15State Theatre - St Petersburg

The first openers were good, but you could tell were new because their stage presence was lacking (sure this will grow with experience). Second opener was Coin, and they were really good. I'm sure they will be a main event in the next couple of years. The main event (Neon Trees) lacked nothing! Great stage presence, sound was good, very energetic & entertaining! Cannot wait for them to come back to town to see them again!

Neon Trees concerts are always a blast!

by RickG27 on 7/14/15Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

If you've seen the Neon Trees in concert before, then you know that they always get better and better. If you haven't been to a Neon Trees concert, then I suggest that you do for their concerts are fun, full of incredible energy, are clean (if you bring along your munchkins), and addicting. They always bring their "A-game" and I always look forward to their concerts. Such a fantastic group. Side note: their opening acts were Fictionalist (hipster/new wave) and COIN (modern teenie-bopper). The first act reminded me of The Police and the second act was something I wouldn't prefer but both acts were lively and fun.

    Intimate!

by Francesca89 on 7/12/15Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Tyles was amazing! And, everyone in the band was just great. It was a very intimate show. Tyler invited the crowd to sing, and he brought 3 people on stage. He even shared some memories from from the venue, making even more intimate. The opening acts were good and extremely nice.
