A signature event recognizing the best leaders and organizations in local neighborhoods across the nation, the ever-popular Ford Neighborhood Awards show will be the cornerstone of a four-day blowout of inspiring activities and entertainment, which include more than 10 other events encompassing the 2014 Neighborhood Awards Weekend.
I thought it was awesome and I had the best time ever in Las Vegas. I look forward to going again next year. It was definitely unforgettable! It was my very first time at an award show.
Great quality entertainment. A combination of great comedy, great music, and great company. Classy event honoring everday heroes who are making a contribution to our local communities. Looking forward to next year. What are the dates????

Other than the massive "traffic jam" to get to the metal detectors (only reason it did'nt get 5 stars), the show was awesome! At sometimes it seemed the music was louder than the performer, but whatever. Steve is so funny and keeps it so "real" that we were in tears! Will be there next year for sure!
The entire weekend event was awesome!! This was my first year attending and I loved it! I will be returning next year...no doubt.
The 8th Annual Hoodie Awards did not disappoint. This is my 2nd consecutive year attending this wonderful event. As if it was possible, even more people attended this year. If you love to laugh and have a good time in a good environment, where the spirit of unity is in the atmosphere, then this is the place to be. Definitely recommend this to all!

The Hoodie Awards is by far the best award show with a meaning and purpose. If you never attended, I highly recommend that you do and be sure to tell a friend.
Loved the Hoodie Awards. This is my 3rd time going to the event. It is always a wonderful experience. I think it is great that Steve Harvey and the sponsors make this show possible.
It was my first time at the Hoodie Awards and I loved it. This was one of the best events I have been to in a while. I love seeing black people coming together and having a good time. Charlie Wilson and Doug E Fresh showed up and showed out for the Freedom Friday Party. The actual awards show was faaar more than expected. O-Jays, Angie Stone, Joe, Nore (knew and from Dallas) and then FANTASIA!! They put on a show that was the bomb. Steve still has a ways to go with some of the little details...lighting, sound, time in between changes on stage, and exits. The exits were the worst. They need to plan better ways for people to leave without looking like a caddle run out of the arena.
Congratulations to the winners and all the nominees. Fantasia did the damn thing and stole the show at the end. She tore the house out with her beautiful singing and pure emotion. I love Steve Harvey and the morning show and their uplifting of all people... all the time. Ain't God good...All the time!!!
