Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

We were so lucky to meet Nate's dad, he is a very nice gentleman. Nick was very cool too, and of course we enjoyed Nate's jokes. I hope to see them again...next time in Minnesota!
Nate Bargatze is simply amazing at what he does. His delivery of jokes is always perfect. I seriously could not stop laughing the entire time. The openers were awesome as well. I loved watching Nick perform and Nate's dad do magic. It truly was an all around great performance. My husband and I were extremely fortunate to run into Nick and Nate the very next day and both of them are very humble, kind and extremely grateful for their fans. I truly love them even more after meeting them and seeing how kind and appreciative they are for fans. They answered all our questions, tooks pictures with us and thanked us several times for coming. Nate and Nick really appreciate their fans and are great people. So happy we went. The performance was great and one I will never forget. After going and seeing how amazing it was, I bought my parents tickets to his next show in our hometown for Christmas!!! Keep up the amazing shows Nate! We love watching you perform and tell everyone we know about you!
Nate is so funny. My husband and I laughed the whole show.
Everything about it was amazing! Great venue and the openers were ON! Will look forward to when Nate comes back to Phoenix.
Nate was hilarious, as always, and the venue was very organized.
We were unable to go to show and for some reason the tickets were marked not resaleable. So, we couldn't attend show and we couldn't recoup any of our money.
Nate Bargatze was incredible and we very much enjoyed the Opry!! What stuck out to us was the caring of the security staff. I accidentally brought my pepper spray with me and was not allowed to bring it in the venue with me. One of the security officers held on to it for me and gave it back after the show. This was a kind gesture and he did not have to do that but I was very thankful!
I loved all three comedians but especially Nate Bargatze! I couldn’t believe he can to do a show in Saginaw!! I was so excited and it was really good!! I wish there were more choices for parking but it all worked out. I bought tickets for my two girlfriends and they loved it!
Nate Bargatze and the three men who opened before him proved once again that creative and hilarious humor can indeed be generated without following a vulgar, R-rated rabbit-trail. Just such a fun night of hysterical, clean humor!!!! Thanks so much!!!
Show started on time and ended in 2 hours including openers , which was perfect. Nate’s magician dad made a guest appearance which was amazing. The show was clean and funny for the whole family . The only issue was with leaving the actual venue . That was a nightmare ! The parking gate stopped working and everyone got stuck .
Love Nate's shows. Second one we've been to and it's always hilarious
Such a funny show and love that he and all the openers are all clean comics.
Nate's hit the big time, playing (finally) sold out venues like the Opry House. My only regret is that headline acts can't last longer than an hour (like music concerts do). I would listen to him do every set from every special in a heartbeat. On pins and needles until this tour is released as a Netflix special. Love the Tennessee Kid!
Classic Nate relatable stories. Loved this show in Nashville! His delivery is everything!
This was a great show! All three openers (including Nate’s dad) were uniquely funny. And of course, Nate had us laughing the entire time. I appreciate that it’s a “clean” show with nothing vulgar/raunchy.
Nate Bargatze at the Grand Ole Opry House was a blast. Nate is one of my favorite comedians and his live show didn't disappoint. Would most definitely recommend checking him out live if you get a chance. The venue ans staff were great, too.
I’m a Nate fan so I knew I would enjoy the show, but it exceeded my expectations. All fresh material and very funny. I appreciate that this is clean comedy-No need to be vulgar or shocking to be funny and entertaining. Nate has a lot of momentum and will be one of the giants in stand-up comedy
Very funny, did not disappoint. His dad and other opening acts were also great.
Loved the show! Nice to have a big enough place for these kind of shows locally. Good comics and a nice venue
