Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

He was hilarious, great venue, worth the meet and greet
This was a fantastic experience! Nate was hilarious, I was laughing at basically every joke and the atmosphere was incredible.
The show was great start to finish. This is our 2nd time seeing him live over the past couple years and both times were amazing. His jokes/stories are clean humor that has you makes you laugh until you’re in tears. Will definitely see again.
Omg we’ve been going through some down times and needed a good laugh! First discovered Nate on Sirius XM. Bought our tickets and what a great time from his opening act to his dad and then to Nate we were rolling in laughter and can’t wait to see him again someday! Keep bringing laughter to us Nate you have a real gift we love your show!!!!! And seriously felt your pain with the Starbucks fiascal hahaha
I attended the Nate Bargatze show with a friend . We scored with great parking very close to the theater and great seats for the shows. The first comedian was funny, and warmed up the crowd well. Then Nate's dad came out and was hilarious! He needs to always go on tour with his son. When Nate came out, I was on the edge of my seat with excitement! He is my favorite comedian to listen to and watch. I love the fact that his stories are all based on personal experiences, he doesn't use any profanity at all , he doesn't embarrass people (unless he is including himself) and he is a pleasure to look at! My friend had never heard of him and she really enjoyed the show. I highly recommend going to see Nate Bargatze to everyone who gets the chance.
Nate has quickly become my favorite comedian. His delivery and his clean act are perfect for anyone to enjoy. Trust me when I say doing an entire stand up act while being clean is very difficult and he crushes it!
We loved the show! Seating room wasn’t great, but the show blew it out of the water! Openers and Nate were incredible!
It would have been nice to know we were paying for folding chairs. Nate was awesome.
The whole show was amazing! We went with friends and we all had an awesome time!!
First of all, Nate Bargatze was hilarious. The Murat is such a cool venue. Such old school charm...I love it. The systems for people glow worked well, even with two shows happening at the same time (and three shows in the venue that night). I only had two minor complaints. The chairs were not very comfortable. By the time the set was done I could not WAIT to stand up. Also, the seating arrangements and flow of the venue meant that every person coming in late blocked our view while they tried to find their seat. Otherwise, a great experience.
Hilarious evening. Nate's father, Stephen, was one of the opening acts. You can see where he gets his talent. The time flew by. Our first time in the Egyptian room at Old National Center. We upgraded our seats with Premium Experiences and Jennifer Taylor was a huge help.
Everything about the process of getting in, getting seat, getting a drink, and enjoying the show was smooth and just fantastic!
So funny! He had a warm-up comedian that did maybe 10 minutes, then his dad came out for maybe 20 minutes and he was really funny, and a great magician. (If he didn’t have people in the audience that work for him pretending to be strangers, I have no idea how he did his magic.) Nate did not disappoint. Will definitely see him again next time he’s in town. Entire set was new with the exception of a short “greatest hits” section at the end, which he called out in advance, and it was still hilarious. And he was clean. If you’ve enjoyed any shows you’ve seen on tv or Netflix, or even clips online, don’t hesitate to buy tickets.
I was very excited to see Nate Bargatze live, and he did not disappoint. Great night!
Nate is a great comedian. Really enjoy his comedy. My date had never seen him before and also really liked it. First opening act is ok but nothing special. It’s short though. Second part w Nate’s dad is very funny. Seats at Egyptian room are average. Close narrow and no slope. Consider sitting on the side w tables.
Awesome night of comedy. Nate has the unique ability to take the mundane and make it hilarious. He doesn't have to curse or use crude humor to make you laugh. So refreshing
I guess I'm not his audience. I was disappointed with his set.
This was actually my second time seeing Nate. He is hilarious! I can't wait for him to come back to Indiana because i will be going to see him again!
We really enjoyed the show. Nate has a great dry humor that I love and he has a really good delivery. Timing is spot on and he doesn't drag things out when telling stories. Since he doesn't need to weave in a bunch of language and the bits are not overly mature this would have been a great show to bring our teenage kids. I think they would have enjoyed it and the content wouldn't have gone over their heads.
This is my second time seeing Nate and he was hilarious again! If the opportunity arises too see him again I'll pounce on it.
