MYSTIC BRAVES IN CONCERT:

LA-based psychedelic rockers Mystic Braves channel the fuzzed-out sound of ‘60s garage bands, taking listeners on a fabulous throwback trip down the rabbit hole. From crushed velvet coats to vintage instruments, everything about the group is dripping with classic vibes. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The five members of Mystic Braves discovered ‘60s garage rock by scouring their parents’ record collections. By the time the group got together in 2011, primary songwriters and co-frontmen Julian Ducatenzeiler and Shane were ready to recapture the essence of psychedelic rock. After years of gigging in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles the band released their 2013 self-titled debut to warm reviews. Sophomore album Desert Island came the following year, as the band began to tour and split bills with groups like The Growlers, DIIV, and Bleached. As they continue to gain fans with their trippy live shows, Mystic Braves have also remained active in the studio, delivering their third critically praised album Days of Yesteryear in 2015.
