Great to have the festival back in Atlanta. Was a great show all around. Having the stages close together was great because you never missed a band play.

Couldn't have been better!!
by kcin65 on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5One of the most fun festivals i've seen. The band of skulls put on an epic show as usual, along with the black keys. I was not a huge coldplay fan but their show has definitely turned me on to them.
Great day of music
by DavePcola on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Great lineup for a single day of music. The price point was a steal! I look forward to the next one!
I will never forget the night I had.
by BenHIlley on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5I knew it was going to be pretty crowded but no where near as crowded as it was but that only made it better. Me and my girlfriend made our way to the only a few rows back from the front. The screens were amazing and the light and speaker setup was the best. I couldnt of asked for a better concert
Coldplay... WOW!
by Georgiaman113 on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Through out the day I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the bands that were at Midtown, I was in aww of Coldplay and they did not disappoint. When I arrived, Walk the Moon was on stage and I had never heard of them. I was very entertained by the songs Walk the Moon played and would say I have become a converted fan. I thought they did a wonderful job and the music they played was superb. My next favorite band was the Black Keys, the brothers did a wonderful job. I enjoy the music they play and thought that they played a great show. Last and definitely not least, Coldplay. WOW! Chris Martin and the guys did an extraordinary job putting on such an energized show. I was extremely impressed with the flawless performance. This was my first real concert and I was very impressed and enjoyed a beautiful day full of music.

Overall I was very impressed with Music Midtown. It was very organized and well put together. The stages were great and the performances were very well timed. The only complaints that I have is that Coldplay did not play as long as the schedule said they would. And once it became dark it was very hard to use the bathrooms. Other than that it was a great experience and really hope they continue to bring Music Midtown back every year!!

awesome festival
by raskolnikov2011 on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5The line up was fantastic. really good atmosphere, good availability of consumptions. Too few toilets though, and insufficient cell phone bandwidth. Overall a great experience.

Didn't like the fact that we were told at the gate that we couldn't bring book bags in when the website said we could. Otherwise it was great!
BLACK KEYS were fantastic!
by tezzatl on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5first time seeing the black keys live and would love to see them again!
Short & sweet
by Shockadow on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Food- Fantastic. great blend of carnival fare & the addition of the food trucks was brilliant. Booze- Thank goodness for craft beers. More than 1 festival had been diminished by crappy beer stands Tunes- The local & 99X bands were well covered but some indie diversity would have been appreciated. Some of the early bands flat out sucked (NOT the Constellations) and besides eating, that part was terribly boring. the Constellations & everything after & including Manchester Orchestra was great. COLDPLAY SUCKS but impressed me against my better judgement... The REM cover was the highlight Advice. BROADEN the musical genres.
great event
by longtimer2 on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5What a great event. My entire family loved the afternoon and evening. Great music, great food, great atmosphere, the Black Keys were great, Coldplay was unbelievable. Credit to MARTA for an excellent plan to get people out of the area quickly.
Music Midtown was Amaaaaaaaazing!
by BlueChica on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5Absolutely incredible festival experience. All of the bands were great, all of the stands seemed to be well prepared, and the people were very nice :).
Music Midtown Festival :)
by Catriana on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5Music Midtown festival was in ATL, Georgia in Piedmont Park. The park itself was beautiful. They had a Ferris wheel set up, so at night the lights were very pretty. There were so many artists there selling nice paintings, cool clothes, awesome purses and such. The musicians were all amazing! The audience was pretty great too. The only time the crowd was ever annoying was during Coldplay. But it was at the end of the day when everyone was tired and just wanted to get a good view. The people who were working the event were very helpful. I had a LOT of fun. If the bands are as good next year, I will definitely go.

Coldplay was phenomenal. I'd heard they sounded good but I didn't expect them to sound that good. I'm definitely going to try to see them again if I get the chance.
