Music Midtown features a diverse lineup of over 30 artists across 4 stages for 3 DAYS. Be it rock and roll, hip hop, pop, electronic, or anything in between, Music Midtown has been Atlanta's premier festival for music lovers of all kinds since 1994.
Seriously, I am not sure how you can top coldplay, black keys, young the giant, manchester orchestra, and on and on and on. It was a great time and my who family loved it!
Every band that showed to play was wonderful live. Not only was Music Midtown great for seeing my favorite bands like Cage the Elephant and Young the Giant, but there was a lot of new talent that I had never heard of, like Walk the Moon and The Postelles, that now number among my favorite acts.
Coldplay might have gotten all of the hype, but Cage owned the show. Overall a terrific lineup though.
Great to have it back. Perhaps there should be a little more variety in the genres represented next year, but overall a great re-start to the festival.
