45 mins to take a piss, never again. More time in line than watching music.

This was truly amazing. Over 90,000 people gathered together to watch electrifying performances. You cant miss this!
Rain was a buzzkill & it was WAY too overcrowded.
by LeontheLion on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5The rain was a definite buzzkill for Saturday. The lineup was great and I enjoyed every set except RHCP. They put on an amazing show BUT I could barely hear anything. The audio quality and level for their set was terrible. You couldn't hear anything and I can only imagine what people way behind me were thinking.
Poor Planning by event for rain / bad lines.
by ATLEventGuru on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5The event should have prepped more for rain and had more lines to get into the event. I will not be going to this again.
ZZ Ward and Journey were amazing
by Armybrat321 on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5Both bands sounded great. They didn't hold anything back.
Midtown had a great lineup but terribly planned
by Gurlgurlgurl on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5When we arrived on Saturday, the lines were absolutely terrible. We waited an hour just to get in. Because of that, I missed Capitol Cities, who were one of the main reasons I was going to the festival. There were way too many people for a festival that small. Other than that, there was a good lineup and I enjoyed the music

A Day to Remember
by VictorianMachinery on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5It was so miserable yet exciting (miserable because of the rain) but I met many cool people and had a swell time from the 2nd row.
Disorganized
by Allpen on 9/23/13Peidmont Park - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5I went to Music Midtown in 1997 and had a blast and was excited to go this year (2013) to see my favorite band Weezer! How disappointed was I to be one of the thousands of people stuck outside the gate for 2 hours while the ticket scanners were down?! The employees were of no help at all and just said we'd have to wait and "there is no other entrance". I missed Weezer and want my money back!
Great Venue, Better bands, unforgettable Music.
by Anonymous on 9/21/13Midtown Music Festival - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5Had an unforgettable time at Midtown 2013, the bands included, Reignwolf, Teagan and Sarah, The Mogli's, 2 Chains, Journey, Phoenix, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Cake, and many more. They all absolutely rocked the park and it made for an unforgettable weekend.
Music Midtown 2012, ATL, GA
by tvrock on 11/11/12PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5I moved to ATL the year after Music Midtown left ATL and did not have a chance to experience it until its rebirth last year. Expanding it to 2 days this year was great. Both days were filled with a great community of people and awesome mix of music/bands, and great headliners. Foo Fighters stole the weekend. I always liked them, but never saw them live until then. Their set, including a great encore with some surprises (Pink Floyd medley, Joan Jett jamming with the band) was one to remember. Note to MM: Keep on truckin'.
Great Time Super VIP Viewing Sucked
by PJ20Girl on 10/22/12Piedmont Park - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5Seems like I was not the only one who purchased Super VIP and felt this way. Only 3 stars because of the super VIP viewing. Yes the amenities, food and being carted back and forth between stages was great but I'm pretty sure everyone who paid over 1000.00 paid this amount because they thought they were going to have a better vantage point. Usually when you pay this amount to see any type of concert you end up front row. Super VIP was in no way shape or form anywhere near the stage. Pearl Jam is my favorite band and I wanted to be right up front when they came on and in order to do that I 1, had to be in GA and 2, had to stand through 2 performances which were great but I would have preferred to see those band sitting down having a drink. So there I was in the middle of the crown in GA and was only able to get about 10ft away from the stage. I suppose I was lucky to even be that close because I see from the other reviews that the sound was horrible and I was able hear clearly and even get some good video. I will never do this festival again. The line up will have to include Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Band of Horses, Smashing Pumpkins, Black Keys and The Foo and VIP VIEWING MUST BE POSITIONED BETTER.
TI and The Foo Fighters were awesome!

Atlanta needs more great music events like this
by Squirrellydevil on 10/7/12PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Smart move on Atlanta's part to bring back Music Midtown after all these years. The city's enthusiasm leading up to the event and the sold out show should demonstrate the desire for a musical event of this size and diversity in the area. Way to go Atlanta! The event was well run, and I especially liked that most of the food vendors were local restaurants and food trucks. Line up was good, but there would be a more natural flow if a third stage was added, otherwise the crowd just walks back and forth from two stages all day as the next act goes on. Hope this continues to be an annual event - cant wait for next year!
- by bell899 on 10/4/12PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5
Foo fighters and Pearl Jam were amazing!! It was a memorable weekend! I liked the idea of having two stages, it made the event flow smoothly. Highly recommended.
Florence +The Machine blew me away
by MikeB2769 on 10/3/12PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5First time going to Music Midtown and it was awesome!
Great venue, great acts, great vendors!
by ThePilate on 10/3/12PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Overall an outstanding two days! Location, artists and food & beverage choices were wonderful. The only downside? 30-45 min wait for a port-a-potty all afternoon on Saturday.
- by Anonymous on 10/3/12PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5
The port-a-potty situation was a nightmare. There were not enough facilities and in between concerts the lines were 45+min long and people had to resort to going wherever they could find a place.
Pearl Jam was AMAZING!
by Luvmy2a2tz on 10/2/12PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5I went mainly to see Pearl Jam but thoroughly enjoyed all the bands! Ludacris really knows how to get the crowd going! It was an overall great experience! The only problems were, they should have more vendors selling water and they need more porta-potties near the main stage!
