  • Music Midtown (Queens of the Stoneage) Rocked!

by Jeeeennnn on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The lineup was great, weather was decent except a little rain Sat. The only suggestion I have is to accommodate the people a little better. Food, porto, and beer lines were ridiculous!!

  • RHCP- Round of Applause

    by Rae1207 on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I was disappointed in 2 Chainz but Journey, Phoneix, Queens of the Stone Age, Kendrick Lamar, and RHCP made up for it... wow. And the Yeah Yeah Yeahs performance was on point...

The bathroom situation could be a bit better, but considering how many people were there, still pretty good. Bands were amazing. Overall a great time. I will definitely be going next year!

  • Journey was amazing :-P

Nice day at the music festival. My only complaint was not enough toilet paper in the portapotties and no hand sanitizer- gross! They could have said that on the event site so we could have brought our own... Jane's Addiction put on a really good show, and of course Journey was just magical - dang that guy can sing! Also, the food/drink selection was really good. I had really yummy indian food, my friend had a crab cake burger, and we drank fresh squeezed hard lemonade and Sweetwater 420, pretty classy for a music festival in the park! It made me feel a lot better than park junk food would have and was not (too) expensive. Definitely should have brought more cash since credit card machines weren't working.

I love this festival! I didn't like the 3rd added stage it was too far away and just decided to skip bands in that stage becAuse of that. I was VIP on Saturday and again there wasn't enough bathrooms for VIP which was reason I spent that kind of money. That was a epic fail on MM2013.

  • Would not recommend bc bathroom situation sux

by Greginchitown on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

Been to music midtown two years and a row and they just can not seem to get the bathroom situation figured out. Both years the lines are over 30 minutes to use a overflowing Porto potty. Other issue was Saturday night stage volume was way to low and although the fans were screaming "turn it up", it never happened.

  • Too many people, poor planning to accommodate them

by Anonymous on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

Given the number of tickets sold, there were about 1/3 the necessary number of porta-jons and about half the necessary food and beverage sellers. Lines were ridiculously long for all of the above, averaging over 30 minutes for each bathroom line. The ticket price was way too high for the lack of quality in logistics and the performance line-up.

  • Journey was worth waiting for!!!

by MdaddyG on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

VIP tickets were definitely well worth the extra fee. Everything was professionally handled from the entry, excellent food & drink, seating, view of the stage, etc.

  • Journey was strong

by Joshhhhhh on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Journey blew it out but the Peppers were not loud enough. Janes addiction was weak.

  • Great time

by Anonymous on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

They had a lot of great bands. I think if the festival was on Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday you would of had more time to spread out the scheduling of the bands. There were many performances that I was not able to see.

  • Poor sound quallity - lacking the concert experien

by GtheFlyingDutchman on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

While people complained about long lines we didn't experience these, however we might have as well walked in with some copied passes as there was little to no checking. Little to no security on the inside with a bit over the top marijuana usage, normal use doesn't bother me, but it was really hard to find fresh air anywhere within the park. Typical drunk and stoned teenage behavior. While I can deal with that the worst was the sound at the main stages, the volume was extremely low and poorly mixed. RHCP quite often the guitar was not heard and given the low volume I didn't get the concert experience as I would typical have (last year was by far better). Not sure what was up with this but totally unacceptable.

  • Imagine Dragons made it worth it.

by MTLK on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The rain sucked, but overall it was a fun day. The food vendors were diverse. It was cool having three stages since there were so many people. Things were paced nicely and everyone stayed on schedule. Good event.

As always, it was incredibly fun! Only wish the food was not so outrageously expensive. The AT&T giveaway was do awesome!

  • Lackluster festival

    by Juicy09 on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

Lines were out of control, just a mass of people. $10 Coors lights, impossible to see the stage. Overall, I wasn't impressed. Not enough food vendors either.

  • rhcp were great

by kkrudedog on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Not enough bathrooms!!!!!!!! for the number of people there not enough...getiing in was too long... good location

  • Chili Peppers

    by Redhotchili8888 on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The bands were awesome! However, it was overcrowded and the sound wasn't loud enough for the main set! Wish the Red Hot Chili Peppers had been turned up!!

  • Music Mudtown

by RodderATL on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

2 stars for scheduling Jane's Addiction and Cake at the same time.

  • Journey was outstanding !!!

by Echodebk on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

  • The Line-Up!!!!

    by CiCi95 on 9/24/13PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The line up was incredible!! A great mix of new bands and classic 90s! The fact that the Neighbourhood played made the weekend for me. And the Arctic Monkeys and Weezer were both unbelievable. I even overheard people saying it was better than Bonaroo this year.

Massive crowd, and an absolutely fantastic lineup lead for a great time. The sing a long that happened between me and my bro's is unforgettable
